  1. Hey man, I cannot seem to find out if my stand will work.  I think it will, but having a tough time finding one to experiment.  Are you going to be up at the track Tuesday?

I'd make an offer of $40, but hate to lowball.  I will be through Columbus Monday also...

If it's the older/standard style front fork lift, Pitt Bull of course, it should work fine. The necessary pin for the steering stem varies from bike to bike, though.

I won't be at the track... Off of bikes for a while. Mondays are pretty tight. Let me know what time-frame

and I'll see if I can make it work.

  2. Teknic Violator Suit, size 40/50, White w/ red... $250

Crashed once in grass/gravel. No damage to leather nor stitching. One small tear in the kevlar/stretch material on the wrist--Not sure how this happened as it is under the gauntlet and I had no damage to my wrist..?

    Both lightly used.

  4. Not trying to be too cheap, but I would like to think it could be done for considerably less than the cost of buying two whole doors. For the size of the repair spots I would be completely willing to sand and rattlecan with rustoleum myself. It is a Jeep, afterall. :D

    Will give a call...

  5. Recently picked up a 06 TJ Wrangler as a new toy. I would like to get two small rust spots repaired on the full doors before it spreads any more. Basically where the window frame meets the door (on the latch end) has some missing/bubbled paint and subsequent rust. The PO painted over the 2 spots either to control or 'hide' it.  We're talking maybe 2" x 3" on the drivers's door and 2" x 2" on the passenger.  The body shop around the corner quoted $830 (which is the average $ for a set of good doors on ebay) to blast and paint. I expect they were trying to price their way out of a small non-insurance job.

Anyone on here do or know a good shop for this kind of work in the Columbus area?

  6. Decided to Post my trackbike for sale on the WERA classifieds... Have gotten a few inquiries, including one last evening with a list of questions. To which I replied.

    Received this response this evening:

Thank you for your response, I am an oceanographer and I am currently on sea at the moment. I am buying the bike as a surprise gift for my son because his birthday is close. He won't know anything about it until it gets delivered to him on his birthday. I can only pay through PayPal as I don't have access to my bank account online/internet banking, but I have my bank account attached to my PayPal account and this is why I insisted on paying you through PayPal. So please get back to me with your PayPal email address and phone number so I can proceed with the payment and after I have made the payment, I have a pick up agent that will come around for verification and to pick it up.
    Thank You, Regards
    Ethan Mascarenhas

How may red flags can you count..?

Googled the name, and Apparently above and beyond being an Oceanographer, Ethan is also a parapalegic former magician.
