  1. Thought it funny when Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction did tour together a couple years ago... ...Billed as the NINJA tour.
  2. Well, not the only reason...She also married me for body-heat and to get things off of the top shelf.
  3. Rode into work one day a while back, and a concerned co-worker saw my helmet on my desk... "Do you always wear a helmet?" "No...Only when I'm riding my motorcycle."
  4. Pretty conservative here, at generally 5-10 over the posted... ...Basically slower than 10% of most highway traffic, but faster than 98% of cars on the twisty roads. I like making it home to see my wife after a ride.
  5. The Wife and I were visiting Gettysburg a couple years ago... While sitting and eating ice cream on a bench in front of a shop, a squirrel in a tree next to us launched into an agitated chatter. The chiding went on for about 30 seconds. When it ended, without looking up from my ice cream, I responded "Yes, Dear..." Came pretty close to wearing ice cream that day.
  6. I liked the Magpul concept version of the folding gun/flashlight better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D99NHb6B03s Of course, no laser or survival goodies...
  7. Dude must really like riding the bus!
  8. My Grandmother and her friends were smokers. In her ashtrays, there was a small metal cylinder for snuffing out cigarettes. In my adolescent days I would occasionally put a little black-powder in the cylinder so unsuspecting folks would get a nice flash and puff of smoke when extinguishing their butt. They never found it as funny as I did.

  10. One of you should hurry and snag this before one of the others gets it!
  11. Looks better and performs better. There, now you've heard it twice. Back in the day, I had two Chinese SKS's's...The one w/ the original stock and fixed 10 round mag was rugged and ran flawlessly. The other was adapted to run AK mags and FTF'd to no end. As far as second-hand experiences, most people I've spoken w/ who run the duckbill mags have had feeding problems. Tapco, etc., stocks are just plain ugly (IMO), except for the Monte Carlo--but it still loses something, though.
  12. $112 will get it UPS'd to Millersburg.
  13. New--mounted but never used. From what I have heard, a good budget alternative to AimPoint. Out of the box, it seems quality made (doesn't feel like cheap crap). Has an unlimited (and transferable) lifetime warranty. Includes high-mount ring and 2x magnifier. Asking $100 (retails @ $150) Selling as I've since decided I prefer to keep it simple... http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/vortex-strikefire-hunting-red-dot-scope-low-30mm-ring
  14. I have a set of these that fit well under most jeans: http://www.bohn-armor-pants.com/catalog/ Comfortable, warm for cooler weather and surprisingly cool in warmer weather (as long as you're moving)...Covers all the 'corners', but I doubt the lycra has any meaningful abrasion resistance. But coupled with kevlar jeans...?

    My pup (Monkey) upside down...

Do you really want to tug at that string?
  17. Forward handle Pitbull stand is a good stand for loners. You can balance the bike by the bar/clip-on while raising or lowering.
  18. Hadn't given it any thought until this morning...Would have to think some more on it. Not really in the market for anything at the moment.
  19. Almost, but not quite... Mine's a '71.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BBwvFjiBcI&feature=related Who says they don't write good love-songs anymore...?
  21. Old paint cans filled w/ damp sand and suspended from a rope are fun shooting w/ 5.56 or something small at 2-300 yds. They swing with the hit. Only fun once or twice if you shoot larger cal.
