My guess is that it will indeed debut in 2011 in Europe, but as in true aprilia fashion not make it to our shores until 2012...Also the same as the rumored arrival of the 125cc RS4. Another rumor from an attendee of the Milan show is that the 'face' of the V4 Tuono may be altered/updated before actually going public...

Apparently not due in the 'States until first qtr 2012... We've got time to save up...

I've read that aprilia had to de-tune it from the RSV4, as the lack of plastics allows front end lift/instability at 150+ mph...

My Wife and I were in Vegas for the PBR World Finals, as well. We were staying across the street from the Thomas & Mack at UNLV, where the 5 days of the event are held. We saw Ty and various PBR and VS. staff every morning over breakfast while we were there. Didn't know he rode, until the last morning (last monday). We were waiting for our ride to the airport, and Ty walked out in riding gear and started to load up his GS. He and a couple others from the crew were readying to hit the road for a few days... Unfortunately the camera was already packed that morning, but here's one of the Mrs. with Ty, and VS. commentators Craig Hummer and Justin McKee at the hotel the morning before. It'll definitely cover you, but...Though the jacket may fit, the legs will be too long. During a get-off, the knee armor would likely roll/slip off the knee. They can be tailored to fit properly and relatively inexpensively...I've had work done by http://www.spyderleatherworks.com with good results. You'd have to decide if the add'l expense is worth it to you.

Finally getting to a good place after 6 lingering months of recovery from a nasty little(?) knee procedure last spring...Now... Not me this time, but my friend 'The Monkey'. Torn ACL, and surgury to repair it today. Now 6+ weeks of miserable recovery for him. No steps, no running, no slippery floors...Leashed trips only to, ahem, take care of business. Hope he's got some grasp that it's a 'good' thing...He's already been miserable for the last two weeks of hopping around on one rear leg, and this is the only way it'll get any better.
