    My coffee :(

Hmmm. I like my coffee like I like my women: Tied up in a burlap sack and strapped to the back of a donkey by Juan Valdez.
  2. Not confused. One could freeze up and be a victim...Or be an opponent. Getting a way from the conflict would be my priority. I'm sure most criminals would prefer the victim to not fight back. Getting away is easier if the attacker 'loses interest' or physically cannot follow the victim.
  3. I don’t admit any of my strategies to anyone. Not saying that I carry, but if I did it would be used only for the worst-case-scenario. I realize that a CHL is not a permit to shoot or kill—only a permit to carry a concealed handgun to defend oneself and or another innocent. If drawn and fired, most probably will be going to jail until all of the details are ironed out…And almost definitely going to incur several thousand $ in legal fees to maintain that it was the only option. Not saying I have any skills, but if I have Krav and Aikido training—that would be my primary resource to remove myself from the situation. Not a fan of pepper spray, as one could just as easily disable oneself, especially if discharging into the wind…I would probably prefer a tac light, especially since criminals tend prefer low-light situations to operate. 120-or-so lumens to the eyes will temporarily blind an attacker even in daylight. It also generally tends to put them in a disoriented defensive position allowing for a good strike/kick/stomp. The light can also become a weapon of opportunity at this point. A good strike to the clavicle with a flashlight can disable the limb. Just sayin'...
  4. It's a 2-pc, but a decent price: http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=37429

    carry in bars?

I find it interesting that most believe that guns are not already present in many of these environments.

    carry in bars?

How about full nudity and guns?
  7. Old School, just prior to the return of Frank the Tank. We're going streaking...
  8. Thanks...Didn't know if anyone would pick up on that.
  9. Well, actually, pretty nice little Saturday. We're going to Home Depot. Buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring. Stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath and Beyond, I don't know. I don't know if we'll have enough time.
  10. …Because I am not a badass. I have enough training to understand that realistically I would not necessarily be able to punch myself or my loved-ones out of danger in many real-life situations. Especially if the badguy is armed. I also find target shooting and training to be very therapeutic and stress-relieving.
  11. Do you mean Bimota? Bianchi, Morri and Tamburini.
  12. As far as I can tell, the fitting as described by Teknic is pretty close (6', #170). Problem for me is that my height deficit is apparently in the inseam...The knees want to sag. Of course, I have that problem with every off-the-rack suit.
  13. Since the $ will likely go toward a M-O trackday, let's make it $185...
  14. Are you threatening me?
  15. That's def'ly a 60's, prolly 67-69 'Slash 2'. I used to be big into the /5's. By no means rare, this was my '71: I've not owned anything I consider 'rare', but all of my bikes seem(ed) to be a bit more uncommon to come across on the road... Triple

From the album: Motorcycles and stuff

  17. 6.5 seconds short. 8 - 6.5 = 1.5 or 2/288
  18. Psssh... 1-Hanger 10-rounds buckshot 15-seconds.
  19. That, and just like on motorcycles--you go where you look. Right out of the gate it looked like he was looking for a place to get off. I thought he'd manage to make at least 2 jumps on strength. Most folks new to the sport think you can just clamp down for 8 seconds, but in reality no one is that strong. Especially on the bulls at this level. There are a lot of body mechanics involved and the rider needs to constantly keep moving to match the bull jump-for-jump. He got the crash course beforehand, but probably didn't even have time to think about it. Kinda like putting a novice rider on a MotoGP grid. Come to think of it, that could be his next challenge...I'd watch .
  20. Not surprised, but he only came up 6.5 seconds short. And I believe that was generous of the timer. Was entertaining to see how the dude went from cocky to humble after actually seeing the caliber of Deja Blu and the other bulls in the PBR. Actually admitted on camera the night before his ride that he apparently didn't think this though, and really didn't want to do it. But props for still trying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NAGlU-ZO0E
  21. Living with a Tuono is a lot like living with a slightly coke-addled stripper. She looks nice, is crazy as fook, and when you twist the crank she grabs you by the manly bits and growls at you to 'lean further, go faster...' You throw money at her. You dress her up in carbon and Ti...
