Is it innapropriate to impersonate Batman? Spongebob, George Carlin, or any other hero? That's what kids do... They explore the world through play and make-believe. (Some have more access to props than others, though). Depending on the kid's age, he may have been borderline disrespectful. Perhaps he doesn't have another appropriate role-model to advise him of such a faux-pas. In that respect, as long as CS kept his cool: good job... I'd've kept it out of the men's room, though. Now, a grown-ass man running around like that is a whole 'nother thing.

Aprilia parts are not a problem to obtain. Not sure how the parts prices compare to the more common bikes, though. Yes, not doing trackdays this year due to a grade III shoulder separation back in April. Coming along, but hard braking is too iffy. Changing hobbies for a while... No longer a feeler, letting go of this one. I no longer have any of the street parts. Has some asphalt/gravel rash from a lowside, as well as a couple dents in the swingarm from the exhaust and rearset.

Took the belly pan off of the Mille to do an oil change, and forgot to pull the inner plastic support panel out that wraps around the inner side of the exhaust, basically leaving it lay directly on the exhaust. Changed the oil, then started the bike to circulate and check oil level (dry sump). After running it for a couple minutes I started smelling a nasty melting/burning plastic smell…Realizing what I had done (or not done) I looked underneath to see a black gooey glob bubbling on the link pipe. Went inside to check the AF1 racing site to see how much this OEM piece of Italian plastic was going to cost me. Didn’t feel as dumb when I read the part description:
