Your math is accurate for what you said. If you stick to the thought of you're paying for "10 minutes". However, they have changed it up and I feel it balances out better now. I did another event this past Friday. 1st round is practice, broke up into three 8-11 Kart groups. Second round is stacked by overall fastest of your entire group. This is the qualifier, in three 8-11 kart groups. Third is the finals and it's NASCAR style!! The whole group it split into two groups, by their times. Then each group is on the track for a ROLLING start with a pace Kart. First turn is chaos and super fun. BUT, this is a 14 lap session and they track who finishes in the lead. So to me, that balances out better, and there was a lot more contact = more fun. Understand, the overall number of people you have could change the break down of things. We had 27 people. Also, after us, there are no more private events there. Yes, they are still caught up in the issues of opening. But, they are not doing anymore until March. People can go ahead and be upset, but at least they are here and doing what they can.

Those dude were kind of a funny situation. I was ok with them joining us, because I had thought about trying to jump in with a group also last week. They worked at Honda and were in town from Japan. I only saw one in the fast group and they seemed to play nice. I don't recall seeing after the first NASCAR race, or leave for that matter.

The vids are shit. I'll have to watch them again with the sound of. Sounded like the GoPro was rattling around in the case the whole time.

Great pic's MJ. Had a great battle with Jbot, that was really fun. Many hard hits last night. I'm really surprised they weren't more strict. I was told at the end of the night, I was almost pulled from the last race. Glad everyone had fun. The money factor is what it is. The next one will not be until March or later. They have stopped doing private events so they can finish up some track work and continue to prep it, while they wait for the city or whoever to give them the 'OK" to open the doors.

Everything I have read, though that is not too much on this, has people saying exactly this. Just get the AK. I'm a huge AR fan because of how long I have worked with that platform. That said, I fucking love my AK. So much fun and it is just alway awesome. And they aren't that pricey.

What time are you thinking? We had people show up 30 minutes late last time and they worked them in. I don't want people to plan on showing up late, but I also want as many people there as we can. It's too damn fun to miss out on it.

I have gone back and forth on adding a 38mm or even 40mm to the toys. The cost vs benefit to the rounds available, just haven't made me justify it.

I have placed a few orders for .22 bricks from places that are allowing backorder on good pricing, $31 per 500 or less. I have 3 orders out there right now ranging from Feb-April for filling the order. One just emailed bumping me to May. I don't mind the wait, so much as I'm hoping for some accuracy in the in stock delivery. Just an FYI for CR. I'll keep you posted.

I go to optics planet simply for the variety of good and bad there. I see $7k+ set ups out there and that's just laughable to me. This thread was intended more toward glass you guys have had your eye on, if you were looking to do some shooting like this. My interest I. Shooting like this just spurred me thinking about it to post.

I have an on again, off again chase for distance shooting. I become slit between hunting and hitting paper and stacking rounds, or wanting to. I like the over 500M shot, or ability to make the shot. I would say 800-1200M ability is what I would want of the scope. Frankly, to me, it's more shooter and some scope at that point. I'd like to keep the rifle out of it, assuming it's a capable weapon. So I ask you CR, realistically, what scope would you get? I like big magnification. But, doing a little searching/looking in to what else is out there.
