  1. I really want to get better informed on the energy use in our home. I have, what should be a great set up, and I'm losing $$$ hard. I just don't know how to chase it down. So how does this unit tell you what item or area you are running the most?
  2. Little more info. "Something draining power", do you have an example? Or do you mean just finding what is not being efficient?
  3. Cabelas is confirmed this morning. Just left. Only allowed one box of any one type of .22. Second shelf on right side is 300 pack of CCI mini mags for $24 http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/7941F232-74FB-4AFB-AE64-AB3ADC79140F_zpsiezz91un.jpg
  4. Only members on that form can view the pics.
  5. That's exactly where my head was. The flux capacitor must be the reason this isn't working. It HAS to be. Nope. Did not know you knew.
  6. No way for anyone to know that. I get that it's funny to you and the OP. Might have been a good PM.
  7. Not hitting you on it. It was valid exchange. I posted that so this didn't spiral way off to a "beat Bob up" thread. The info and opinion exchange is good. But, as you can see with the post I deleted, some clown is going to come in here and post a link to a toy AR from Walmart, and think he's funny.
  8. I'm a bit embarrassed. But, it is what it is. Glad to see I'm not the only one.
  9. He asked a valid question based on his interest. We asked the reason and expressed options. He's on his topic and no one has to agree with it. I look forward to seeing what is suggested. I'm a SCAR fan, as well as an ACR fan. Interested to see what the end decision is. Let's stay on topic.
  10. Suggestion, and if I'm off base or topic, just say so and I'll delete my posts. Master what you have. It sounds like it's above average quality and very capable. Get in some of the courses that teach the AR and what it can do. If it's name trophy's in a build you are after, so be it.
  11. Reason it needs to be so uber expensive? What are you accomplishing at $2k+ that you can't get at $1100 and maybe less? Understanding what you plan to do with it can help get you behind the right gun.
  12. I'm my own worst enemy with electronics. I had everything connected right. Who knew you needed to plug it in. facepalm. Shaun, your insight was far better that what I got from the Indian guy at Honeywell. It got me looking at what I thought I had already done, plug the damn thing in. Thanks
  13. HVAC people, WTF!!!!!!! I hate wires!!! All I'm doing is changing the thermostat in the shop. This is a gas heat, and heat only set up. Had an old mercury thermostat on it before with only a red and white wire. So it was on or off function only. Now, 6 phone calls later with Honeywell, I'm still nowhere and their customer support is all pissed off because I'm a homeowner and not a trained HVAC professional. Worst part, even reconnecting the old thermostat, now nothing works. WTF? Heater http://beacon-morris.com/html/garage_heater_bru.asp Thermostat http://yourhome.honeywell.com/home/Products/Thermostats/7-Day-Programmable/RTH6580WF.htm I have a 24v transformer powering the new unit, which is needed. Any suggestions?

    Sochi LOLs

Is this a reputable website, or are they like the Onion? Pretty amazing if it's a true report. Feel sorry for that Canadian bobsled dude. He'll be dead soon for opening his mouth and telling his of the evening.
  15. That sounds like what he said. Don't know what it is though.
  16. I will try to find out what it was. The guy talked like it was pretty common, IMO. I might know it if it's posted here. But, it not what was mentions above. The guy works at Cabelas in the archery department, at least that's where he was the other day when he was helping me out.
  17. talked to a dog trainer today who told me 4 of his dogs got into some Coyote poop, and dogs being dogs, ate some. All 4 were sick with some disease within 48 hours; I forget what he said it was. One died from it, and the others recovered, $3,000 later.
  18. Thanks. I'm at work and would have missed this. I have been killing it with cabela's for .22.
  19. I love gun porn like anyone else. Please be careful posting this stuff online, forums especially. Maybe you invite to opportunity for someone to break into your home, so you can defend it. It isn’t hard to see someone’s pics on here and read back through the history of everything they have posted to see where they have talked about their work, where they live, how long their day was, and what vacation they go on every year at the same time, ect. I would hope CR holds a higher standard, but we have had questionable members here in the past, and I would hate to see anyone, or their family become a victim. Please use caution. If you have any questions or concerns on this, please PM me.

    ccw renewal

This is going to vary from county to county, I believe. Here's why I say that. While the process is just that of turning in your application again, to include any info that may have changed over your last 5 years, the application fee, and I believe a current passport photo. The normal process is people make an appointment to turn in their info and be screened. Then they get a call to come pick it up once the Sheriff Dept has run their info and it's "ok". However, If they are not busy or you have a friendly smile and they like you, I had a student walk in with all his info and leave that day. And, this was Franklin County. Rare, for sure. But, it can happen. And this was from scratch, his first time. Not a renewal. He took my class on a Saturday, and text me a pic of his CHL that Monday morning. I would have called BS otherwise. He had no legal issues and his paperwork was in order. That's the 1%. 99% of us, I would expect 3-5 day turnaround after turning in our. info. County to county will be very different.
  21. 5:18 had me crackin up. LOL
  22. This is good info exchanged in here, along with some opinion. "Was told" is typically a terrible reference. If you want to operate in the gray area, be comfortable with what may come of it. You don't have to think it's right, but if you end up with an issue, you have to deal with it. Sighting a website, other than the enforcing agency, may not give you the answers you need.
  23. Very nice. Haven't gotten around to picking one up yet?
  24. Anything over 4" and I'll be at MR from open till I'm done tomorrow.
