Good info. Glad Midway worked out for you. I got jerked around for 6 months by them on an ammo buy, that was "in stock". 200 rounds of 308 win. They would email me telling me it was not in stock and I was on back order, ok, that's fine. Then 2 minutes later I would get and email saying my card was declined. I got this same thing 5 different times with them, calling them each time to fix it. Over an hour on hold, for them to confirm they had the right CC# and ex date. They told me they would fix it every time. Then a few weeks later, the same shit. Finally I canceled the order, and they still did the same shit to me 3 weeks later. I washed my hands of them for being too unorganized to trust with a charge.
  2. Can a Mod set up a poll? Do you run winter tires? If not, why? Don't care, they don't make that big a difference. Cost too much. Ohio doesn't get the weather/ I don't drive in areas that justify it. I have AWD and don't need snowtires If people do run winter tires, please reply with make and how you like them. I run General Articmax on 2 cars and have run them for 4 years on other cars. I love them. Never been stuck. I have a set being put on the wifes Subaru today. I have run Firestone Winterforce in the past and they were very good. I think they jumped in price and that had me look into the Generals.

Here's the deal with .22. Unless someone can post something AWESOME, and I mean .07 a round or better. Your best bet is to bulk buy/ we could do a group buy. And even at that, the best I can find is .13 per round and 5000 rounds for $649. That price sucks miserably. But, that's what is out there right now. Unless you are looking to buy 100 rounds once a month from Cabela's websight @ .07 per round. I bought 5000 rounds in April last year for $350, and that was when it wasn't even available, so I bought it to have for training. Now I'm getting realy to buy another 5000 and it sucks. I watch for it on http://www.gunbot.net/ammo/rimfire/22lr/ throughout the day and buy it when I see it. It's just a shitty time to get a deal on .22. It's out there, and close to the cost of 9mm right now. That said, there are better deals on unique ammo than common ammo right now. For instance, 5.7X28 last year, at a GOOD price, was .47 a round. I can still find it for that some times, but usually at .52. Still a good price to me, though someplaces are still charging up to $1.22 per round.
  4. I would say an 11'ish. With the 8's I has them almost all the way cinched down. We can always test it and see.
  5. Just wanted to update this thread with info, now that we had the remote installed and have had it a few days. I went with the Viper LED remote. It had the features I liked and pricing. Kyle was off on the day of the install, but John covered us. Kyle did give me the feel of "this dude's from CR, I got him covered", and I liked that. The experience was good and we have really liked getting in a warmed up subaru the last few days.
  6. Absolutely!!! Came here to post this. Jason has posted saying thanks. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115963 I know it's tough times, CR. Every bit helps. Please do what you can to help the family out. Thanks
  7. Glad to help, Jason. I'm happy to see the support coming from CR too.
  8. That would depend on your riding stance angle. I could do a test fit for you.
  9. Thanks for the good words. The Salomon bindings are new, never mounted. The Rome are like new, but I think I dropped them while moving and they are scratched. I bought them and never mounted them, just liked them when I saw them. And I bet if I look for 10 minutes, I'll find all the base plates.
  10. So, it turns out I don't need several snowboards and a bunch of gear. I use to be the guy to let people borrow gear and teach them to ride. Now, I just want to ride and teach and not have all the extra stuff around. So what you see here can be a ready to ride set up, or just some things you might be looking for. I can mount the bindings and set it up for you if you are looking for a complete board. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/for%20sale/th_8F97EE4E-0DC3-48F0-9824-64140992258F_zpsacequezg.jpg Burton freestyle board, size 151. Estimated to be a 2007. I have searched from 1999 to 2009, when I got the board as a factory second, but I'm not able to find the model name It's a second because the petex has two text section marks. I've riden this board with no issue at all. No huge gouge marks. just usual wear. $35 http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/for%20sale/th_26B742DE-475A-4FFA-9B92-CA153888A985_zpsrqcvvg3a.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/for%20sale/th_9D5D23D8-FB9C-41F9-80E8-6D80536CE6F3_zpsgftwk8v8.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/for%20sale/th_AB2A3870-3306-465E-ADEB-FE885DCCDA5C_zpssb4f1u72.jpg Rome SDS Bindings $45 http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/for%20sale/th_67BF1FF1-F9B8-46CB-8541-5827B55E63FE_zpsrahrjzlt.jpg Salomon bindings $40 http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/for%20sale/th_BBC8AF4A-477F-40C2-9747-1BDA9A999625_zpsvy0rx69u.jpg Burton freestyle bindings $40 http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/for%20sale/th_3C4A261C-581F-441A-8DCB-5C45D0A4A7AA_zpsqbjkvzip.jpg Burton MOTO Boots size 8 $25 http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/for%20sale/th_8ABC7AF8-E749-4DA6-8C35-D462C2B1A2DE_zpshtkxrkjr.jpg AIRWALK Boots size 8.5 $10 These are old school awesome. I only have one set of base plates. They are white. Baseplates are cheap and easy to find.
  11. My schedule went to hell. Thanks for willing to hold.. I'm just not sure when I can meet up. Go ahead and let it go.
  12. Best wishes for the best news you can have. What you are going through sounds terrible.
  13. Erie insurance tends to blow most places out of the water on rates and service. However, if the property has any unique features, like a pond or a couple out buildings, they may not be the best. Usaa does very well. I bought a home in March, and after going through a broker and USAA, I went with Allstate. I have my cars through them and they beat out Erie insurance, who the broker found to be the best one for us. PM AngryBMW, he can give you the broker's contact info. Her name was Melissa.
  14. Great to see the support here. Jason, I hope all is going well with the family.
  15. Is it just my 3 computers, or so all those pics look like Micheal J Fox took them. I can't make a damn thing out.
  16. Same Same, Daniel san. Prep to prep.

    Winter time

Ammo is out there and has been more available than most common calibers. http://www.gunbot.net/ammo/pistol/22tcm/ I have been following the TCM .22 since 2011 when I read about it being the only competition to the FN 5.7, in terms of small caliber handgun with 2000+ FPS. Another great thing is the price and what you get. For less than $700, you get the 9mm and the .22 barrel with this gun. I was also put off by the uniqueness of the rounds, thinking it would be hard to find in the future. Buying this gun would be a $1500 investment to me. $700 on the gun and another $800 in ammo stock.
  18. The friction was meant as sarcasm. LOL. I knew what you meant. We all need a CR snow day.
  19. Tempting. I have been wanting to test fire some 180gr.
  20. I can niether confirm nor deny being towed by a car in a parking lot, while on a snowbaord. Why you starting friction with a fellow boarder? I will frontside 360, tail tap that ass.
  21. Find some terrain that I can't ride. Then we can have the "old man" talk. Until then, keep tripping over you twin planks. Unless in the evening, that weekend is getting pretty stacked.
  22. ^^ I LOL'd I have training on the 11th. But would be up for other times
  23. Bump for good system. Having one istalled right now at Pick ups plus.
