I shot some of that stuff and kept waiting for it to be bad ammo. I had no issues. The powder just smells weird when you're shooting.

If the time and location work out, and if you would like, I can be a range safety for the day. I want to help, but safety is a big thing.

If people are getting to work for them, that's great. Where it was more relaxed before, now we are seeing more people getting tapped for multiple orders, reguardless of how they are doing it. For something like this, I say do what they will let you. If you don't get it, you tried.

Just realized you were probably referancing the stuff in your link, more so than trying to beat up on the CR posts about ordering more than 1. FYI, .22 is back on the shelf today at cabelas.

No 3 rotor Mazda's ever came to the US. The 12 and then the 13 series motors were all 2 rotors. The RX7 is like a 16 year old dating a supermodel. She looks SOOO good, but you have to put the maintenance time in, you can't just fuck her all the time, like you want to. They aren't for everyone. Change the plugs every 1500 miles, along with the oil. Plugs are $8 each.

Today I picked up one brick of the Blazer .22 I bought online at Cabelas at week. I placed 4 orders, cleared my cache like I have before with each order. Only one order came in. The guy said I had 3 canceled orders. In the notes of each order, it says customer changed their mind, refund issued. Damn it Jim, you got me. Bummer.

With your 10/22, I would do CCI MM or Winchester X, the 1373ps stuff in the red 100 round box. Once I was sighted in, that is the least expensive, most consistent ammo I have found. Without consistency, you can't have accuracy. It is so easy to hit even a fly when one lands on the target. You'll make shots that will shock you with that set up.

Given the recent talk on .22 Ammo. I wanted to talk about the experiances people are having with .22 guns and the talk of certain ammo and certain guns don't play well together. I really like the .22 caliber to shot. It's just a lot of fun, so I shoot it quite a bit. In the last year I have shot approximately 8,000+ rounds of .22. Quite a bit through Walther P22, SR22, M&P22, and Ruger 10/22. Eventually, I got rid of the P22's and have 3 SR22's and the M&P22 for training. I have shot just about every common .22 ammo I have ever seen, and can get my hands on. I can say in all that ammo, I got one brick of Federal that gave me trouble often. FTE or just not fire when the rim was struck. I got it from somoene in a deal, so I really didn't care, and I liked that it was likely to fail. I cycled it into my training classes to make people deal with misfires. I am almost certain this ammo was stored with little care. I think it sat in someones car most of the summer and the gel like priming substance, combined with heat and gravity, caused there to be areas of the rim not covered, creating a misfire. Often I would refired the round and get the round to fire. I'll add this; .22 pistols have a bad rep for being picky with ammo. In my experiance, I have fired the hell out of my .22 pistols from new, and even some that were used. The spring in most I have seen is quite stiff to start out. High volocity ammo helps fight FTE issues. But, in all the above listed .22's, I'm able to shoot standard ammo that I store in a cool, dry place, with a rare failure. .22 are as dirty as Ron Jermey. You just have to clean them and shoot them. I'm not .22 ammo bias in any way now. At one time I did think there was ammo that a certain gun just didn't like. I shot that gun more and issues went away. I am hearing more about issues with a wax like residue on the Reminton Golden rounds. people are saying it is the cause of malfunctions. I'm open to hearing more about this. Looking to hear what you guys have experianced and your thoughts.

Posting this for Chief8one: LOL well, I just have a hand gun. I feel like 300 might be excessive. I have a hundred on hand, but I was thinking of going to the range tonight. What is an average amount of rounds one would shoot at a range per hour. Probably seems like a stupid question. Sorry I'm new to this stuff.

I like what's being said here. I'm almost up to the amount I want for my warm weather classes. I would hate to have to chase ammo this summer during prime shooting weather.

Awesome!! Short story: I dated this hot, spoiled chick when I fIrst moved to Columbus. She shacked up with me for a year or so. We had dinner with her folks, almost weekly, it sucked a little. She was horrable about leaving lights on, so I started unscrewing them just enough so they wouldn't come on. She would get all pissed because she thought they were all burnt out. I would tell her to go buy new ones all the time. After buying a couple dozen, she realized they weren't burnt out. She was soooo pissed. So one week at dinner, she cries to Daddy about how mean I am to her and tells him what I've been doing. Dude stood up, and shook my hand with a huge smile. Then looked at her and said," I've been telling to do it for 20 years".
