No, just hold on. Or use a demo gun. Kind of like a mini jack hammer for smaller jobs or over head work. Sorry for the thread jack

I'm a pussy who just came home from Afghanistan 3 months ago and have been on the bike for only two track days in the last month. I'm a new rider. And realistic, if anything. The last thing I want is to come home from a year of near misses, just to wreck a bike in the rain. So if this is a pussy thing, we can meet up and sort out your definition of a pussy. Or you can shut the fuck up. I ride within my limits. Any time you care to join me in the other things I do for fun, feel free. Difference is, instead of calling you a pussy when you can't make it down a mountain snowboarding or just aren't able to keep up, I'd help you. With all the shit I heard about AFJ, with people like you running your mouth, no wonder there is tention. Brannon turned out to be extremely helpful at the track and sociable each time I've met him or talked on here. I hardly get on here, but reading shit like " You paid, you might as well go out and ride". That's mindless. Or have you missed the several times I mentioned I was a Novice rider, for you to keep pushing that someone should just go out, no matter what. You're an idiot, see I can call names too, and the last person I would want to get bike advice from. Feel free to PM me with any issues.

Good intro. Simple and has pics. Welcome and good luck with the future mods.

That might be the worst advice ever. Let's make a bad situation worse. Rather than be out a little money, let's be out a lot more money. I say that's all on the individual rider. I put none of that back on AFJ or any group that runs a track day. Let's wait around for hours, HOPING the weather clears, so we can get some dry runs in. I guess if you have nothing else to do, that could work. And on that day, it seems it did. If there were 50 or so riders that day, and 22(as stated went down), that's nearly 50%. I will say, most of the riders that I saw go down, were not from the Novice group. So as a Novice rider, what would make me think I should be going out there and pushing the limits for me?

Too much flavor going on in there. Not a fan of pumpkin flavor to begin with, but my girl and I thought we would pick some up. She thought it was ok.

I misread that post. I concur.

In a couple months the Barrel Select will be put out again. In earlier posts it was mention/argued this in not beer or even whiskey. Ok, sure it isn't. But when it goes in to the vats, it's at over 12%. They have to dilute it to be able to sell it. Just toured the brewery a week ago today. Of all the Vermont Brewery's we have toured, 6 or so now, these guys were absolutely cool. Free pint glasses, key chains, and an email from them yesterday free with t-shirts in the mail. Hard to beat over $50 in swag for just stopping by in person.

I didn't get that from reading any posts here. Please explain.

I didn't see a lot of smooth out there. The smoothest thing I saw was me leaving and taking a $160 loss without riding Vs. $xxx+ in damages and maybe injury. I was told the Novice group would have plenty of instructors and there would be great info put out. There was chaos to even break up the groups in the beginning and count to 6. Then there was 28 people in the whole group and 6+ per control rider. No control rider was assigned or introduced once the break down of groups was made. We were told just go to the cone with your number on it when they call for Novice. There were 12 people in Intermediate and the track was open enough where I was going to bump to that group, as Hoblick did, just to get away from the mass in Novice. I AM NOT AN INTERMEDIATE RIDER. I'm a one gear smooth champ at best. It is what it is. I understand the weather is uncontrollable, 19 bikes down says a lot though. I'm fine with being a fair weather rider.

The issue I have with Wally World and guns is this. There is a process to buying a gun. I have seen zero employees at any Walmart that I think would do the paperwork properly and not make it a pain in the ass. If that's not issue for you, I can't see why not to buy the gun you want if the price is great for you. Good luck and please let us know how it goes.

It's about 2 years old now. The older ones had some issues and this one is after the fix Ruger made. I don't have a date of assembly. I do have the manual, it just does not indicate any date information.

That's a huge burden to take on to ensure people aren't fraud-ed. Kudos to them for taking the extra step.

Thanks. I think so too. I really went back and forth on deciding to sell this. I just have plans for the scope on another platform and I'm excited to get that put together, so this would just be sitting. I hate the rear site not being with this, but I think the price reflects that.

Late last night I ordered some equipment from Crutchfield. The order wasn't VERY expensive, but it was a good dollar amount. Today is Labor day and by 1:30 today, about 12 hours after the order, they had emailed me and I had 2 missed calls from them. You see, the shipping address and my billing info were different. I'm 100 miles from my car, so I sent my purchase to where the car is. I called them, and the lady who had called me answered, mind you this is a holiday. In her voicemail she left me a passcode to tell her, and in her email she told me to check my voicemails for the passcode to confirm I placed the order. Pretty thorough if you ask me. Everything about the order said Credit card fraud, and they were mindful of it. I'm pretty much blown away by that level of customer service

Window tint and no front plate are the same problem waiting to happen. You know it's going to get you pulled over. You just have to own it. To me, I know that I if I get hit for no front plate or my tint, that's just what it cost for me to have things the way I want. Some times you have to pay, sometimes you don't. If there was a tax; say $100 a year and an additional school for higher speed driving, that would allow me to drive 80mph on the highway and included no front plate and some tint options, I'd pay it.

I picked this up in January when I came home on leave. Took it up to Vermont and shot about 30 rounds through it. What a fun rifle to shot. No recoil, but if you're standing next to it, you feel a nice punch. Shoots a crazy ball of flame out of it too. I left the rifle with my dad and decided to make it a project for us. I wanted to set it up to shoot distance, just to play around with it. I have longer ranges to shoot at in VT, than here in Ohio. I sent my dad a 6x24x50 scope to mount on it. It was just nuts, but great fun. Thing is, we did what we wanted with it and it is accurate. I was getting eye fatigue after an hour or so, but wanted to keep shooting it. My groups were falling apart. Then my girlfriend picked it up, having never shot it before. And she shoots 3 rounds that touch, all in the bulls eye. This gun is that easy and so much fun. The bad: There is no rear site. You will need to mount a scope or acquire another rear site. My dad sent a Nikon P223 scope to me here in Ohio, in the mail. In the box was the rear site. The post office can't find the box and therefore, the site is gone, as well as my scope. Buyer must be 21 years old with ID. Price is $575 How I had it. What you get + paperwork:

There is no receiver with this set up. Selling it for my dad. He picked it up a while back, with hopes of building a project with it. Now he just wants it out of the way. There was only about 200 rounds through the barrel. $50 takes it. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/IMG_1600.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/IMG_1601.jpg

It's been a lot of fun. Had a red dot on for a while, then went to a scope. Just fun fun fun for planking. I've changed direction again and won't be keeping this. They run about $115 new and I've had it on for 2 years. A year of that in storage while I was deployed. Looking for $70 for it. It's light, has quad rail(removable bottom rail cover), and adjustable stock.Takes about 15 minutes to put on. I will do it for you, if you like. How I had it set up. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/IMG_1597.jpg What you get. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/IMG_1599.jpg

Gay'er than eight dudes fucking nine dudes. Maybe in the water, but would rock reef shoes instead of croc's.

Paul, this is not how you go about getting useful information from people in the future. There is a dick punch now on order for you. When would you like it delivered?
-
From Ross: Joe, I just said that as a joke lol. I picked it up last night at Vance's just for the simple fact that they had one in stock that wasn't spoken for already. I'm going to put some rounds through it to get a feel for it. If I decide I don't like it, you'll be the first to know. So he bought it yesterday and sold it to you today. Interesting.
