  1. For the 5? And plans have them starting at $200 for 16gig.
  2. Where did you get the protector from? Would like to see a pic.
  3. It finally broke $700 a share for the first time.
  4. All I wanted to see in that vid was some kid come up and punch him in the dick and run off laughing. Dude was trying so hard with having his English be clear.
  5. Got a pic? Would love to see this recovered.
  6. I kinda just did this. I'm grandfathered in, ordered the 5, was going to hand off my 4. By adding someone right now, we got a free 4. As for the GOV deal, you'll get 17% off your rate plan and discounted accessories. The iPhone plans are pretty locked up. I'm just happy the grandfathered the unlimited data. Now what I did get while trying to work a deal was free minutes. They are able to add 2000 minutes to your rollover amount. They did this for me, make a mistake and hit the button twice and boom, 4000 minutes. I already had 1800 minutes on there, lol. I don't use the 700 a month I have now, but its a nice gesture.
  7. You can meet with me at 0500, for the next two weeks before I leave for another school.
  8. 19th group is here in The Columbus area. You can go drill with them and see if you like it, and if they like you. If they pick you, you can drill with them and prep for selection. I'm guessing you'll be at RSP next weekend?

Nothing wrong with the factory turbo. I upset people often with it as a daily driver. And still get 27MPG. But I understand wanting more for autoX. Can't see the pics from my work computer. But it is always nice to see another Subie on the board. Welcome. +rep
  10. What were you told to do from there? They aren't going to call you when a slot opens. By the time they see there is one open, someone else more than likely filled it. I'm glad you didn't get into another MOS, other than what you wanted. And I'm sure they may have told you, you could probably transfer later, which is so freaking hard to do. No one ever reclasses like they think they can. Infantry is a great thing. It's not for everyone and it means very little on a resume. What you will get out of it is knowing yourself and reading the people around you pretty well. That's life. There's no college class for that. I just ran into my roommate from the Marines at lunch. Hadn't seen him in 6-8 years. 15 years ago we were grunts. He has a half million dollar house, runs a finance company and is doing ok. Me, my shit is just how I want it, and I'm thankful for what I learned about myself and the experiances. I'll be retired before I'm 50 and I have lived. There will be hardships and tough times in service. It's when you look back at them and realize how you grew from them, that's a reward that only you can know. Just make sure you set yourself up for success with school or a trade, if you get out. Don't let the military be your greatest achievement. Everyone will see that in you, make sure you bring more to the table than a war story when your time is up.
  11. Go through Mark Stock, AngryBMW on here, for your mortgage. He just did Troublemakers, and is doing mine for me now. And all the other stuff said here
  12. I had this on the Subaru for about 6 months http://www.amazon.com/Inch-Vinyl-Decal-Nobody-Notebook/dp/B006ENQJW0/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1348107787&sr=8-15&keywords=stick+figure+family
  13. Growing up in Vermont, one of the guys that would go to our deer camp had one. One day he shot it and missed the deer. The path it cleared became a hiking trail.
  14. I drive all over Columbus. I'll keep an eye out.
  15. Just an FYI for those looking for work. I'll be here until 2pm with the Ohio Army National Guard. Looks to be about 20 companies here. Stop in and say hi. 3850 Stelzer Road Columbus‎ OH‎ 43219
  16. I'd be in on this. I'm Army Guard, full time AGR recruiter. I have the bike and gear ready to go.
  17. -Do the hard right, over the easy wrong. -Never trade your integrity, it's not worth what ever you are thinking of giving it up for. What's missing in today's new soldiers: -The willingness to earn your place -Young NCO's who know their job and care enough to correct fellow soldier when need be. Soldiers do some crazy shit. I needed to come up with something to keep it simple. This is what I have been putting out for the last 5 years. The 4 rules to be successful: 1) Be where you are suppose to be 2) Doing what you are suppose to be doing 3) When you are suppose to be there 4) With the gear you need Best of luck to you. Have the heart to push yourself. You can do more than you think you can.
  18. Something not talked about that is kind of a given. Everyone hears AWD and assumes, it's great in the Winter. Subaru are good, yup. To make them great, put Winter tires on. It's a whole other level of driving. Do it right, and the safety and confidance can't be matched. I love bad weather. I'll park on your roof. It's that kind of feeling. I have about $1200 in my Winter wheels and tires. So that is an expense for me as well. FYI, I'm driving to Columbus now. Fresh and clean intake filter. Cruise is set at 75mph, putting me at 2800rpm in 6th gear. MPG is reading 26.4 and I'm 53 miles into my commute. Everything was reset to zero before I left this morning. AC is on too.
  19. Doc has the info right. Kevin does it all.
  20. I have mastered paying for it. I turned wrenches on mine for a long time trying to learn them. I just don't have the skill to build the car the way I want it. Kevin is just awesome. I think there has to be a respect for and swap as well. It is not exactly easy todo those swaps and I can respect that.
  21. Those might be the last 3 FD's to ever get Swapped. They are functional and well built. There is detail and engineering that most car guys completely miss, and yet they are all a work in progress. Outstanding Job Kevin.
  22. From June 2- through September 3, I drove 10,853 miles. Without any effort at all, I can be at 22mpg and cruise around doing 80+ on the highway, or zooming around in the city. Setting the cruise control at 74/75 (by gps) will get me 25/26 mpg. Setting it at 71mph will get me 29 mpg. My Legacy is bolt on's, and a tune from IPS. The tune was $400+, pretty standard for a tune. But I make my money back on the fun drive ability and MPG. I clean the intake filter as it needs it and always see the differance there. Now my last Legacy, a 1999GT, only had a K an N drop in air filter. That car was 25MPG all day everyday. But I never drove fast in it. 72MPH felt like you needed to shift into 8th gear. It was geared that low. All these numbers are with the AC blowing cold. Oh, and I finally get my dad to buy a 2008 Outback Prez. He drives like he has a flat tire, he's just a slooooooooow driver all the time. Has driven 6,000 miles this year, and gets 31ish MPG. Bone stock car, with old man driver added.
