  1. If you do go through them, talk to Josh. He's a friend of mine and will tell you how it is, whether you like it or not. But you won't be getting BS'd. Josh is the one who found my RX7 for me and it sat in their show room for almost a year. As for the wrench work they do, I can only say their detailing is good.
  2. I use Redline tranny fluid and their Shock proof mixed. 5 years of no tranny issues.
  3. I have a guy who fixes 360 issues and upgrades the parts to fix it. $40 and usually same day return. If under warrenty, I'd send it in. Good luck
  4. Impressive pics. Would love to see this in person and meet who did the fabrication.
  5. It's a helmet on your head. Reguardless of proper fit, there is restricted vision. I never mentioned a close call. There hasn't been one. Not all posts need to become an argument and that's one thing I haven't missed by not posting on here in a long time. You would "imply" mirrors aren't adjusted correctly. There is a certain " no shit" factor that seems to always get brought up like a poke in the eye. Well, no shit, dummy. One of the questions asked was "what could offer a better experiance"? My offering what I think could be better is, in fact, what I think could be better. Amazing, I know. I MIGHT just preffer things different than someone else. I'm please you find no room for improvement on this topic. Please PM me with any other thoughts on how to perfect my thought's on how the wearing of a helmet could be better.
  6. I have only riden my bike without a helmet through a park a 10 mph because it was hot as hell out. On the road, helmet goes on. And to argue it's your right to wear one: If you are in an accedent in which a helmet could have saved you, but you die or have perminate issues, now you're fucked and anyone else involved just had a preventable issue become a huge situation. In the car on a road course, I have not had an issue with wearing a helmet. Over all limitation with a helmet is weight and periferial(sp) visability. Would like to see the technology of an Arei helmet with out the cost of a house. Over all engineering is the main thing though. Protect my head. That's its job. From there do it as comfortable and with as much visability as possible. Good topic. What is your reason for asking?
  7. Thanks Eric. Smiles here at work for this post. The guys loved it.
  8. Floss to seperate the decale. Then soak the remaining residue in Goo Gone and wait. If it's not ready to come off, you could have minor scuffing if you start on it too soon. Several ways to skin this cat.
  9. I'm going to mushroom stamp you next time I see you. Have a good day.
  10. Thanks dick. I'll be over to pick it up after work. Feel free to lock this. Thanks for calling me on this. No, really! You stand me up on Saturday, now this. I see where things are going here. Noted, Eric. Noted! text you in a few

    Im screwed...

HOw did you sign up without having your temp? The application for the course requires your temp #. I was online at min night Feb.1 when you could first sign up. At that time I hadn't gotten my temp, so I could not register. Getting yout temp is instant. You leave with a new drivers LIC. that has your temp # on it.
  12. I just went through all this bought a 650R in February for deal and rode it for a while before realizing I was going to want something else. I was great to learn on though and I didn't care if I laid it down. In fact, I planned on it. Got offered more than I paid for it, just I bought the bike I wanted and knew I would be happy with for a while. I have not been on a bike in 15 years. So I was starting over. I'd of been fine with anything I think. Just need to fine what's comfortable for you and get the seat timed. I will say this, I was not ready for a bike before now. Know your limits and take the time to learn. And get the right protective gear.
  13. I'm long over do on a props post to the crew there. I'm piggy backing on this one. 4 snow tires for Suby, 4 all seasons for Suby, 2 rears for FD and countless oil changes with tire rotation in the last 6 months. Great deals and awesome people to work with. Thanks guys, keep it up.
  14. I know things were pretty crazy for you for a while. I hope all is well. I'm looking to have the 7 detailed asap. can you let me know if you have time soon? Thanks
  15. If I was around more to do the work than that would be a weak excuse.
  16. I just have not had the time to work on the car and put it together. It's all there. Only about 4 hours of work and tune. should be soon though. For now the bike is fun.
  17. I'm not online much, sorry for the slow follow up. Miller we will get some drive time in soon. And we do need to catch up on a few beverages. Eric, It would be great to catch up with you too.
  18. Still have my rotary FD. If I'm ever in town, it'll be out.
  19. That was fucking great! Lol " call me". LOL
  20. That sites the shit! For realz. Lol
  21. Epic. GL with cleaning the house out. LOL
  22. Is there any toiolet paper in it still?
  23. Yota seems to have his hands in all the "help a fucker out" deals. Good dude and has helped a ton with my things. If you guys need another set of hands, let me know.
  24. Speculating pay for 2011 at this point is pointless. Way too much time for things to change, and they will. I'm kinda new to the military, today being 18 years in for me. Our income Vs. cost of living can be tough. Here in Ohio, we do pretty good though. If you can't live comfortable here, you are doing something wrong. Any civil servant or people in health care should get annual raises for cost of living. Just my .02.
