Cops in that area are really horrible to deal with. You get pulled over and you can hear the bango's in the back ground. You're fucked. There are several YouTube vids of people making a run and counting 10+ cops in 11 miles.

I was there in 2007, before the local PD got crazy. Be very careful with your speed there. As for places to stay. We had a cabin at Fontania's(spelling). Not bad with 4 of us, and it's about 5 miles from the start point and a gas station on the NC side. We went in April with the RX7 Club and the weather was great, 65ish. Great temps for getting traction and keeping the car cool. Other than rain, I'd say you are going to be fine. Just watch your fuel. There are few places to refuel there. And the cost of fuel was jacked up by about .25 a gallon. As for sights to see/ride. The Blue ridge parkway is right there. I did not get on it, but it's on my todo list. Long sweeping turns and some have banks from what I've been told. Hope this helps. Have fun.

Between the shirt and the dollars, I think I can get Yota in with me.

Saturday is their pond skimming day. If you've never been, it's worth it to watch people get completely wrecked trying to ride across water. I'll be up there sometime this weekend. Shot me PM with a # I can text you at. And worse case, nothing wrong with riding alone. That's some of the best practice time.

Registered yesterday and the site still won't let me on.

I've had my Ruger for 16 years and never have had any issue ith it. The after market is nut for it too.

This post cold be an exact quote for me. Same same on everything. I picked up the P22, same frame, just to shoot it on the cheap.

Yota and i were just wondering the same thing the other day. Would like to find some and make a foam pit.

Yota, if you are not broken for VT, let's make the 26th happen.

I have two things to bring to you in March Brian. This should be a fun Summer. I'll try to touch base in Feb to plan things, when I'm in town more.

The iPhone is a tool. And for those who have and like it, itsthe right tool for you. If it functions for you and makes things easier, great. If you need entertained while you're dropping the kids off at the pool, I've found nothing to compete with the iPhone. It keeps my ADD from acting up. Soft ware and companies is a functions preferance. If you don't like it or you don't function with it, get what works for you. Looking forward to 4.0 free update. Thanks for the info Ben.

I guess I'm at a pause with the car stuff. The FD is done for power. It'll get paint and new interior eventually. Then when I break it I will have to work on it, so I guess it'll never be done. I don't have another car that I want to mod. I talked to a dealership today about ordering and STi and as much as I want it, I just don't feel now is the time for that car. Still looking at the 06 STi for a daily and keeping the legacy. So the car bug is mostly to get another daily driver. And I'm thinking I'll have 2 wheels before long, so I'll be putting a lot of time into that.

So it's New Years day and I finially have a free minute and decide to see if I can get a deal on snow tires for the subi. I call Derek and see what he can do. He says he has what I want. Blond, fit body, and an ass that needs snacked. He tells me the price and it's a go. So for the last 3 days I have been tearing it up. Can't wait for the next real snow to hit. Thanks Derek for hooking it up for a fussy customer again.

Very cool! Nice work.

Depends on whAt you do with your car in the winter. If you are the guy who has to be at work, or you drive to areas with more snow, or you're on call and have to drive reguardless of roads, here's my prep. Fall: coolant flush any brake work. Even if it's close. I just don't want to fuck with it in the winter. Usually, new boshe icon wiper blades. You can't drive if you can't see. Rainx the windows. Clean the air filter or change it. Tires: I just put on winter tires today. In the past I have had pretty good all seasons. This year I know I will be where the snow is and on long drives to get there. So I put on a snow tire so I don't have the limitation of some in my travel plans. This is my prep for a Subaru legacy. The fd gets put away and the battery disconnected.

I love the "this is creepy gap" between you guys. haha Girls have no idea that we are nice guys. WFT's up with that?

Chief, scars add character. Didn't realize you were shooting pics. You caught me on the return for scamming lift tickets. haha See you guys up there. Just an FYI, there's a bunk house at a farm across from MRM, other side of 33, $18 a night. Sleeps about 25. Bring a sleeping bag and pillow. Awesome fire place to hang out around, rest rooms and showers. Need to call ahead. Just putting it out there for people who may do a late night and want to ride the next day. NOT A PARTY PAD.

It was cool hanging with everyone yesterday. Always a fun group. Tuesday will be a good day to go up for the afternoon/evening. I'm on my way back up in a little bit. I'll be there the rest of the week if anyone is looking to ride, feel free to PM me. We all know that Ohio has no mountains. MRM is simply and amusement park for the snow friendly. Quit hating Ohio's limited terrain , and come have fun with us.

Bad news, I blew the tranny in the subi. After pulling 3 plow trucks out of the snow banks, it's toast. Not to worry though, I slammed a 4 pack of red bull and fashioned a harness of ofthe sex swing my grand mother got me for Xmas. Any way, I've been pulling the subi for about 2 hours now. I've out run a cop and roll raced a smart car. I was pulling on him big time until I blew a shoe lace in the left scetcher. He tried for the fly bye and I simply punched him off the road and gave him hazards as I limped off in the distance. All is well at this fine hour. This post took 30 miles to write.

lol. I hate liking the way you gay up a message. No homo.

I'm in route. 2 storms, one ice and the other snow, 700+ miles and striaght to the hill. See you guys when I make it.

I can appreciate your style sir. This needed quoted. I went with an ultra up to date cell phone that tells me the time. It's not for everyone, but I rock it and it works for me when I need to know the time.

As long as the rain is over night, the morning groom will make it ridable. Wet and slow, but ridable. Not a bad day to work on the basics and control. Just bring the right gear to be warm and as comfortable as you can. And from what I'm seeing, it's calling for snow more than rain. Give or take 5 degrees.
