I find my job very rewarding. As a Recreational Gynecologist, I only see patients for good things and it's fun. I don't deal with all the bad that a normal OBGYN would be up to their elbow in (pun intended). When I meet with a client, there is an understanding and a since of pride that I put into my work. When they leave exhausted and tell me they enjoyed their visit, it just makes me want to show up for work everyday. I take the time to stay up to date with the latest techniques in my trade, by visiting many well known web sites that are updated daily. I also take the time to research and experiment on my own time. The gratification never gets old. I see myself doing this for a long time.

I bought the FD and Howard showed me how to change the oil. 3 years ago I had never worked on anything and I would not say I'm strong when it comes to mechanical things. From there I planned a build mapped out by Rotarded with tuning by Tony. Rotarded has taught me a ton. I have also had a lot of help from Luke, Vil(and posse), Zayvier(and Jason), Carl,and of course Tony. These are the RX7 only guys. All around, Jesse(Troublemaker) and Eric Allen, have helped me and shown me how to do some wiring and just how shit works. All these are people I have met through CR and would not have known other wise.

Why is this simple fact so easily over looked in every, "my dick is bigger than yours thread"? Unless the arrangement is run what you brung, it always turns into excuses for why it's not an even race. Or, someone complains the other guy has this or that and is sand bagging. "Man I would have beat you if my car was 3 pounds lighter. I should have rubbed one out before we raced to shave off the weight." We are 3 race's away from hearing the above excuse. And why does it have to be just in the 12's? How about this, "I have a car that I have been able to get 12's out of. If you are in that range and want to run, let me know". I could care less about drag times. But, it's always the same shit in a 5 page thread about "Who wants to race me?" And that shit seems to be people accepting and the person who posted the challenge sifting through to find who he thinks he can beat. How about, run them and see? If you get beat, Then you can say, " I had him all the way until he sprayed a 250 shot". Fine, then that guy was getting beat and had to spray. That's the race. It is what it is. Stock twins on the FD use to kick my ass. I was always needing a hand from Rotarded. He was always telling me I over think it and though they are heavy and a huge pain to position on your own, it can be done. It got to the point where I could drop turbos off the car in 45 minutes alone, and install in 45, on my own. Turns out, this is faster than most people, with help . I was in a pinch for time to get the car done and go out. And just did it. Now I've pulled a few motors and several tranny's. I still don't know shit about cars. But I know the FD a little. 3 years ago, I had never even changed the oil on a car. Shanton, I know exactly how you feel. Congrats. And a big thanks to people like Rotarded and Rob for taking the time to share what they know.

On another vengful note. You just paid $2500. why not use the house. They are on vacation. The spider was not that bad. The web on the other hand was intimidating. It was 6 ft off the ground and span between trees. The tree's were at least 8 ft apart and the web was about 5 ft high. It looked more like a net at a batting cage, than a web. Then I saw the spider sitting at the bottom of the web. You know in Alians where the alian was clung to the guys face? It was that kind of big. But the people there just have a great out look on things and are really friendly. I met a girl as soon as I got there and we stuck together the whole time. As for the guys I was with; well one of them was biting chicks on the ass after hooking up with them. He would tell us about it and we were like, you're full of shit. Then a week or so later another Marine was talking about this chick he hooked up with that had a huge bite mark bruise on her ass. LOL. Yeah, I'd say get there as soon as you can.

Fact is they are in their right. Are they dicks? Hell yes! The reality of that reciept being writen that way is to compensate them for you changing your mind and missing out on an other wise potential buy. After all, they did take it off the market. Here's where I would go with it. What did they do to take it off the market? Had anything really changed in the one day? Did they call and cancel advertizing. Did they take a sign out of the yard? Did they do nothing? If they did nothing than seek councel, or go to civil court and call them every name in the book, while kicking them in the shin. You really may only get a judge to agree that they could have done things better. But for $65 ,and the inconvience of them having to go to court, you may have some peace of mind. And of course there is always $2500 in tire replacement.

I always bought new. I turned the last time and there has been no difference from all the new ones I have bought. Difference is I have more $ in my pocket. For a daily driver, I'd say turning is fine. At least for me Subaru it is.
