  2. This was bound to happen. Jeff, thank you for your patients and not just shutting this down. People, it's not so hard to do the right thing here. Correct each other if needed. Don't fuck this up. Be tactful in your approach and if you are the one being corrected, be understanding to the situation. If that's not how you want to hang out then, you might be interested in finding a different group/ place to hang out. Jeff, sorry if I'm stepping on toes here. If I'm off base, I will delete this.
  3. This may end up in the kitchen. I will try it here and see if it can stay civil. What I'm talking about is how people move their vehicle through the parking lot; whether it’s a bike, car, or truck. Doing 40 MPH in a crowded area is nothing short of foolish and asking for something to happen. I saw this way too often last night at IPS. That area is going to be crowded, this is a given. Ego’s with the need to hear themselves rev in front of everyone need to know they are being laughed at. Loud does not = fast. Accelerating in the parking lot to show how quick your pent up beast is, does nothing. No one will ever come up to you later and say that was awesome. If your beast is fast go out and race it. Don’t drive fast and get someone hurt. Let alone if you hit someone else’s beast. If you are trying to move threw the lot and people are in the way, a quick horn blast and a friendly get the hell out of the way so I don’t hit you look, will do fine. Me, turning around to see your Toyota Tracel wedged up against my leg is ridicules; especially when you have 52 people in the car. Even a head out the window with a, hey dude I’m backing up, would work. If your friend is acting like a tool, correct him/her. It’s not my parking lot, so I can’t say you can do this or can’t do that. However, I would like to here some feed back about how everyone feels about alcohol at these gatherings. I think there is no need for it. When I see someone walking around drinking, the only thing going threw my mind is when are we leaving to go somewhere else. If you are for the drinking, help me understand its purpose around a gathering of cars. Yes, people in the center of the lot need to be aware of their surroundings. But, we all know when someone is blatantly trying to be an ass. These gatherings are not a tough guy contest. The fuck you this is me approach will not get you respect. We all know that means a lot (I’m being serious). If you have a shit box, that’s fine. Be a cool guy and know your place. If you are running around talking down cars that are faster than yours or just running your mouth in general, it’s going to catch up with you. Some of the coolest people I have met threw CR; don’t have “fast” cars. What they do have is personality. Thanks to IPS for opening their parking lot for us to gather. Let's not ruin it.

    Fucking Car

Dude that sucks. I'm obligated to help on a friends car tomorrow already. I know exactly where you're coming from on the work on the car though.
  5. I don't understand the question? And I was never on the grassy knoll.
  6. ^^ LOL. Ummm ...... Yeah Envoy, that's what I ment. ^^
  7. Guilty. LOL. A lady in a Dark blue trail blazer stopped in the road a little bit a go to tell me she saw the pics on hare. It was hard to hear her over the car. Very nice lady though. Renner, yes on the stock twins. Thanks again for all the kind words guys
  8. D19sevenT2, glad you like the look. Gearhead, it's a little different than when you saw it in the garage being built.lol
  9. Eric, read this. http://www.columbusracing.com/showthread.php?t=29114
  10. Thanks. I don't recall us talking about that. But, the tranny has no brace.
  11. ^^why mess around looking for a new place. You guys had a good spot. Yes, I'm unoriginal. LOL.^^
  12. Thanks for all the comments guys. I'm glad you like the look. Scott, that would be my wide band guage.
  13. I know exactly what you mean. I have been playing the game for months. I was puking oil from the exaust and smoking, so rebiuld the turbos. Nope not once, 3 freaking times. Still not the issue. Take the motor apart, find a spring that is gapped a quarter inch too much on an oil seal. Put it back together and spend 2 weeks blowing all the shit out of the exhaust after cleaning it out. But, it fixed the oil in the exhaust. So why is there oil everywhere under the car when I drive it? No fittings are loose. No gaskets not sealed. And it seems to be coming from the filler neck, WTF. Take that off, put a bead of Honda bond around it, great that's fixied. Car won't start. Not everything powers on, WTF. Check fuses. Blew a main fuse, another hard to come by part at 7pm on a Sunday. Car starts right up, great. Now it's breaking up at 3000 rpm's. Is this frustrating? Fuck yes! But, they are all pretty much easy fixes. I knew nothing about engines, let along rotarty's last year. These troubles have helped me know the car better and learn to trouble shoot issues. Granted, I have had to make some calls to learn this stuff, but it IS worth it. Sleep is over rated any ways.
  14. John, see Derek at NTB. Check out my thread in the consumer reports forum if you want to know more about the servise there.
  15. I seriously thought Derek was the Manager there. Everyone came to him for things and he was the one setting up the jobs to be worked on from the counter. I didn't think he was going to work on my car because he seemed to be the one making things happen there. I only noticed the actual Manager when my car backfired he came out with that, What the fuck was that, look on his face. LOL Keep up the good work Derek
  16. You guys are awesome, thank you. I didn't realize so many people had seen the car. Eric, you kill me. LOL Andy, I was up there Friday night. Ben, I'm honestly scared of what this car will do on the track and Auto X. So you will be mopping me up till I learn how far I can push her. Then, fear the rotary. Megan, I have blond/brown hair, but it is kinda spikey. I was in that area a few time recently.
  17. Thank you. That is a huge compliment to me. I went to Mike and Tony last year to plan my build. Linn, Fuckgoddamnstupidshit, I'm not sure to tell you the truth. Working on some small issues. I'm hoping, but not counting on it for next weekend.
  18. Last week I went in for an alinement. I had heard about a deal NTB does (from Audi on 19's),$200 for 5 years unlimited alinements. He said talk to Derek, so I did. Derek totally took care of my needs as a car guy. I'm a bit of an ass about my car, and he was fine with letting me drive it in and on to the ramped lift. My car is loud and nothing short of annoying. Back firing in the garage didn't make me many friends in the shop, it was pretty funny watching everyone jump though. Derek was cool enough to let me walk around with him while he worked over my car. I know this makes me a pain in the ass, but i wanted to see how it was done and he entertained my questions. The eqipment he was using was pretty high tech. I don't know much about alinements, but my car handles better than I thought possible. I thought it was fine before. You really can't beat the deal. Go see Derek and ask him or Mike to work on your car. Thanks Derek
  19. Jason- they found my plugs. Poor new guy was trying so hard. John- When are we playing pool again?
  20. ^^ Thank you. I'm glad you like it guys. ^^
  21. ^^yup. Cheap for the street.^^
  22. Thank you. Yours looks good for being about the same age as mine.
  23. That thing would drive over my car and not evn know it. Very nice. I miss my Tacoma.
  24. So this is why I haven't slept much in 9 mouths. No, the car is not ready. It's always close. I'm in the game now, and it sucks. Pretty much; if I change a tire, I blow a fuse or the hood falls off. I'm serious, completely unrelated things. I fix one problem and another one is there to take it's place. No really big problems, just enough to keep me working on something all the time. Taking these picks and seeing what I've built (with help) is very worth it. I hope you like the pics. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/nightpics032.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/nightpics035.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/nightpics093.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/nightpics107.jpg
