As a dude, you can't win when trying to help that. All you can do is keep your distance and report it. You get in there and you are now defending yourself, and then you are screwed. You don't know if random trashy boyfriend is coming around the corner to see you pulling on his girl. He doesn't have to know the story, maybe he just shoots you. Keep safe people safe, and let the animals attack. Legal action is eminent. Why be in it? These are not rational people making rational decisions.

Can anyone say, with any certainty, who locally has the ablility and know how to pro tune a Cobb Accessport? I know IPS has/had it. But then didn't have a tuner who knew it after some people moved around. I'm sure CTD flipped the bill and bought the software. But, what's their status? In the end, if you're not doing your own work and tune, where do you find knowledge and consistancy to work on your car?

I don't want to mess with work stuff. I PM's him that I will be in Westerville later today, if that works for him.

Are you guys there now? I could stop by on my way to work.

For a bolt on car, I can't find any performance benefit to an aftermarket BOV. Both the COBB or the GS EBS will do the car good. I'm in Westerville often, if you want to see the setup and talk more detail.

People posting CTD, are doing it as a joke. Eric was tuning for them, and may still be, for whatever status the company is in. Eric is a good tuner with a bad company, IMO. The software needed to custom tune the AP will cost a company $10K. Doing an open source tune yielded better results with my bolt on car. Mine came with an AP also. I sold it and that covered the cost of the open source tune. AP provides a good flash tune. But, OS tuning can give you better detail, without the shop having to fork out 10G's. What are your plans with the car? If you are going to stay bolt ons with some fuel, look into getting a boost control solenoid. They are $120 and can allow you to run 3 on the fly maps off the iDrive. I have mine set for Eco, stock, and have fun.

These are a birthday present for me, but our schedule has too many things with competing priorities for that day and the weekend. The travel time make this something we are looking to pass on. Paid $110 for 2 lawn tickets with parking, and processing fee. Would like to get $90 of that back. Concert is at the Cincinnati Riverbend Music Center.
