well figured i been back long enough i should share the pics with everyone one. went on a week stay in orlando for bikeweek and commuted between orlando/daytona/tampa/clearwater area for the week with my main crossplaned honey. not much to say so i'll shut up and share the pics we always seem to find eachother in every city. if someone is gonna give you 4k for this thing i would have taken it right on the spot. these vans are awsome machines and they go forever if you take care of them. (look at yours) i would just take the money and run. if nothing else just rent a car for week or two till you figure out your next move. but i can bet not many people will give your 4k for the van

at least at columbus state even if your done with the class you can go back in and the teachers will usually let you use the labs to do personal stuff. just go talk to them most schools are pretty cool when it comes to students expressing themselfs in art/shop classes

if you can make your own wheel spacers i would imagine it cant be too difficult. you obviously have access to the equipment

powdercoat is expensive i've heard qoutes from 300-450. (people try to say thats too expensive but they havent tried to actually shop for gold powdercoating) this was under 80 bucks. the clear coat is protection enough and i have extra paint to touch up wth

so heres how she looked when i started sanding got the new tires on so i didnt have to mess with scratching new paint primer paint clear coat (see the reflection and i havent even polished) mounted up but i didnt put the brakes back on because after the paint cures for a week i'm going to polish for mirror finish. just had to move the bike outta the way because moms needed her garage back.

i would say the superhawk is semi sporty compared to that otherbike in picture. still gonna be fun thought. usually if you choose comfort you also choose no performance, hawk is a good balance between the two. anyways good luck with finding something. most likely your gonna end up on a versys or a fz6 one of those commuter/begginer bikes. other then that your looking at a sportsbike then getting bar risers and rear sets. one of the techs at iron pony has a 05 r1 with lsl bar riser kit and that thing is set up JUST like an fz1 but with real power

i dont ride in the cold because its not fun. you have to go slow, the cold makes me uncomfortable; which in turn makes me not want to even gear up. idk cold weather riding IMHO isnt fun, its something you do because you have no other choice. (my bike was my only vehicle when i first bought it) when givin a choice i wouldnt choose to ride in this shit. good luck and hope you get some kind of masochistic joy out of these harsh months
