  1. you guys should seriously stop complaining. when i bought the r1 geico told me $600 a month for full coverage. be happy with your 1000 bucks a year
  2. do you get a free helmet mohawk and spike bolt kit with every purchase?? now squids can have a one stop shop! j/k love you guys at pony and glad you are expanding
  3. it is an easy bike to ride hard. people always tell me i'm getting too dangerous but really it just feels extra smooth anytime i push. just a fluid wave of power.
  4. only suggestion i can give is be weary of kawi's yamahas always have a superior build quality. better fit and finish and what not. got with the r6 or yzf. both bikes are great for sport riding but are comfy enought to commute or go long distance on.
  5. glad i bought mine in 09, that means i can get new model when it comes out
  6. 4g from verizon works depending on what your doing. if you are streaming video its not good solution. if your just websurfing and paying bills it great option. just because it didnt work for your situation does mean its shit. just means its not good option for YOU edit: overage charge its $10 a gig over. so its not totally unreasonable if you do stumble over your limit
  7. two completely diffrent bikes man. depends on if you like to go fast or you like to goof off.
  8. funny out here i only see bros rockin out the busa and all of em are strected for some reason. (didnt even know they were wheelie prone) and anytime anyone calls em out they only wanna drag. (seen a guy on a stretched busa who said he didnt wanna race a gsxr1000 cause his bike would only do 150.....) gotta love those bros on the busas
  9. 09 r1 has 19,7xx and counting. no issues, no complaints
  10. ^^r6 swinger but no clue what kind of frame or engine maybe kawi from the tank reference
  11. oh you could have just stayed out of places like worthington. i hate cruising on the street because of shit like that and low speed limit. i much prefer the highway or some good country riding.
  12. 2009 bought it out the crate on 09/15/09 has 20k on it now
  13. i like both equally i dont quite have all the gear for trackdays so only upper RPM turns i get to enjoy are the on/off ramps. but there is something to be said for a nice country road where i can open her up and enjoy the scenery.
  14. strech and lower a duck, and you are now the duckhunter!
  15. you dont need a stable of bikes to understand differences between V and I configurations. in the realm of 4wheels all V configurations have more parts and there for are statistically more prone t fail. However in he 2wheel world they have less parts BUT dont rev and 8/10 out of ten are slower then their inline competition. there are exceptions to every rule and we all can think of a few twin bikes that we wouldnt mind to own. but if you talking about realistically OWNING a bike and keeping it up its going to be the inline option if for nothing else then ease of ownership. and who ever that jackass is who tried to say because my current bike is an inline that i wouldn't have a viable opinion needs to slap themselves and make me a sammich
  16. it has more width becuase its a i4 instead of a twin. which BTW i'll take a i4 over a twin everyday. V-style engines FTL too many parts and not enough power. twins,v6,v8 i just dont get it inline is always best
  17. i work at verizon for all your guys phone needs. i'm in the sunbury store but can ship worldwide. if ever you need a great deal on your phone and accessories let me know. i can also push your upgrade upto 7days in advance. PM me for details i can get you Droid X2 and all accessories for about 220. thunderbolt and extras for about 275. Pm me or 614-425-5780 my name is vincent
  18. welcome most people are out riding weds night for bike night and quaker steak on polaris. then alot of us got to tacobell on 11th and high st for more riding. hell you can always find someone to ride with at tacobell just give people some room till you find a group who rides how you like to.
  19. single best thing i've ever bought for my bike. forward handle stand FTW. only reason my bike stays up everynight cause its easy to do bymyself
  20. from what you listed off i would choose R1 because i enjoy quality of yamahas but if not then busa just for ease of maitnence and parts/aftermarket. for everyperson who runs out and buys a busa there are 2 squids who wrecked theirs the same day. r1's are a riders bike IMHO you dont see as many of them wrecked because avaerage skill level of yami buyer is higher then your zuki buyer
  21. the guy who waited for the rest of our crew. make sure you get my# i'll be around you can get a piece of the r1 if you like. im always game but hopefully my bike isnt fucking around this next time.
  22. leave it nakid. the upper half fairing looks bad IMHO.
  23. blackbird?? werent you riding with us last week? you and the guy on the fz1??
  24. you can get your over 21 licence up to 6 months before your birthday. you will only pay one time and it will be the over age id. i got mine a grip before i turned 21 and i was going in all kinds of places cause no one really cared after it was the other way
  25. i would just wait on a busa for what your talking about doing. but everyone else is right if you dont have seat time making a jump like that USUALLY ends badly. just ride in your own comfort zone and you should be alright with a big boy bike
