    They would have to be linked, otherwise you'd be cycleing live rounds out the other slide or slide side or slide half thing.... has to be some link at the trigger or one or more of the sear surfaces.

    Actually seems to be the 74 based platform. I'm still a critic of the Kalashnikov rifle. They do address hand controls and sight radius on this upgrade well. Izhmash doent really impress the hell out of me in any way. Allways been less than accurate for aimed fire at anything resembling a distance shot and handed and carried like a bag full of door knobs.

    She's 17. "Her" rifle is actually one of mine. As far as ownership is figured.And it's not like it will fit in the rack with the Beta on it.

    I see the ORC 2923.11E, well thats new. Good looking out Ohio. Been in LE and tactical for 11 years and that never got put out to us. Laungue is screwed up too. It emplies that ANY firearm that can accept mags over 30 rounds is an Auto. Good luck with that!

    Got the mag with LE LetterHead years back. I have seen several Sure Fire 60 rounders around lately in Ohio as well. Now this has been mostly in LE shooters. I like the Beta, feeds well and low profile. I have never had a problem having mags over 30 rounds shipped to Ohio since the ban ended.

    My 17 has been shooting since she was 6. Got away from it over the years. Boy's, Internet, X-Box live ext... But recently she has been getting into the "zombie culture" Sooo.... I figured I'd support that with a newly set up AR . Went with a "support rifle" or "SAW" concept.

    This is a great thing. In Youngstown YSU forbid even off duty LE taking classes from carry on campus for years. HR218 National LE officer concealed carry burnt that cheif's ass.

    Eh.... Being short and quiet is cool, but sometimes it never takes the place of going loud. The more you shorten and hush longuns the more you take away stopping power.

    At the Departments or stations it's not all that much ammo. It depends on budget alot. Probably just over 'nuff for issue and qualls annually. Then the bean counters buy the minimum for next year. My personal stash is a bit more than that.

    I go minimum of 3 Infantry combat loads, but I may be on the light side.
