I'm going to try to make it in June. I'm around 6'2, 240lbs which I might try to make a trip to Ironpony to try a few things on. Just out of curiosity is there any other tracks someone might recommend for the first time out?

I think I might just rent leathers for the first time then go from there. What else should I be worried about as far as the bike its self, I plan on removing the center stand anyways.

I've got the other part of the 360 degree zipper, for my jacket that would be put in the pants. As for street riding don't have alot of time between working 3rd shift 6 days a week and my 8 month old son.

I'm just worried about buy leathers and having them sit in the closet, due to work schedule I'd be lucky to do more than 2 days a year. If I buy the pants to go with my jacket I'd also be able to wear them for back and forth to work. Hey guys thinking about trying out my first track day. Does anyone know how much the rental fee is for leathers? Or should I break down and buy my own? I know for the novice class you can have textile and was wondering if I buy the pants to match my textile jacket would pass tech. I've been running Continental ContiMotion tires would the be good enough for track day or should I buy a new set softer tires or possibly find some scrub tires, I know I've seen 35 motorsports have some scrub tires for sale. Thanks

Just wondering how the Dobeck TFI fuel controller compairs to the Juice Box? Also need to check on a chain 118 links (wanna stick with a good brand possibly the EK xring) and sprockets 16f 46r, braided brake lines front and rear, rear brake pads. All for a 2008 Yamaha FZ6 Thanx

We had a Suzuki XL7 and was getting about 23mpg average for Highway and City combined. Ussually got around 27-29 mpg on the highway. It was a V6 AWD. Just another option out there. We'd still have it if I wouldn't have wrecked it a few months ago.

Bowling might be good last I knew Palace Lanes was open 24hrs. But If you get serious Its not cheap, with league and tournaments and equiptment I think I've spent almost 800 bucks this month.

A guy by me has one he got on trade he replaced the wheel chockand braced it in a couple places and loves it. Not sure where he braced it a but the wheel chock is one of the nicer ones from harbor freight. It lifts his full dress harley fine.

Very nice did you trade the Sprint? Or manage to sell it? Get some seat time on it and you'll have to bring it down here and try it in the twisties we didn't get to ride last time.

I know there is a group in Arizona that race the Hyosung 650 http://www.epfguzzi.com/hyosung/racing/index.html alot of the parts interchange with the sv650.

I've been debating on trading my FZ6. Its an 08 almost 26k miles less than 2k on new Conti-motion tires. New front brakes. Oil changed about 1700 miles ago, so it will be do before too long. Its all black has M4 titanium exhaust with carbon fiber tips. I'll have to take some new pics of it.

What about a front end swap, I think all balls has a conversion chart for the bearing. I do like the idea of the single carb swap, if you are able to make it yourself 600 bucks is hard to justify for that to me.
