  1. Was there for a bit today. Yep...the 848 sits in the showroom now.
  2. Tool boxes, equipment, and lifts are just now starting to hit the shop area. I'll let Joe know you are ready for an email.
  3. Mine in the black please! This is exactly what I'm looking for in my next bike!!!
  4. Only the South West portion of the building will be utilized by Pegram Racing (area that faces 33 with the windows will be the showroom and the back portion that faces Bowen Road will be the service area). The space is being leased at this time and Larry will contemplate the future purchase depending on how this new business is received in this market. Much effort to date has been contributed to getting things ready and of course the space is not perfect but in due time Larry hopes to make some improvements to the property. It was Larry's intentions to be up and running by now (well before Spring and Bike Week) but there were some initial issues with some folks in the community who were "concerned about noise". Those issues have since been resolved and things are moving forward with their blessings. ***Special thanks to Casper and Maxpower for attending the town council meeting to speak in favor of this proposed business***! As for the trailers and RV around back...that entire back area will remain under the control of the current property owners. Yes....Larry was testing at Jenning GP last week and in fact he now holds the track record after the test. Lots of strides made on the electronics front and the Pegram Racing guys are all very happy with the results and are excited about the 2012 Superbike season. Also....although the shop is not completely ready, Larry and crew are ready for any service opportunities that might present themselves. Overall...there's LOTS of work to be done still but Larry and crew are extremely passionate and exited about the opportunity to provide exceptional performance oriented service to this market. ALL Ohio Riders cronies are welcome to stop by to have a look at things (except for Casper and Maxpower )! Again....things are not 100% ready, but do feel free to stop on out if you see the front gates open. Stay tuned...
  5. New sign went up yesterday afternoon. Lots to be completed both inside the gallery and service area. Should be ready to open the doors for business in two to three weeks.
  6. Yep...sure did. Had one of these too!
  7. (as suggested) Do go the route of trying as many pistols out that you can. It took me a good while to settle on a carry pistol. I actually switch between a .38 revolver, a Ruger LCP, and an XD9. Depending on the weather or attire I have on...I choose from the three. My favorite is the XD though.
  8. Sharp-shinned Hawk or a Cooper's Hawk??? http://www.squidoo.com/coopershawk
  9. All...I repeat ALL of DC needs a good douching.
  10. My two cents don't mean shit but there used to be a day and age where a mans word was a solid thing. IMO....they did wrong by not honoring the initially agreed upon pricing.
  11. In stock at Aimsurplus. BTW...the beauty of the Mosin's is that it's a toy you can have lots of fun with and not worry about abusing. Nice "trunk gun" too. 91/30: http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=F3MOSIN9130Lam Edit: Oh yea...forgot to include a linky to the dirt cheap ammo. http://www.aimsurplus.com/catalog.aspx?groupid=40&name=7.62x54R
  12. The 91/30 is the service rifle (longer barrel for accuracy) with a detachable bayonet and the M44 is a carbine (shorter barrel) with an attached fold out spike bayonet.
  13. Man...tough question. For accuracy the 91/30 is the winner. For sheer "boom boom fun" that includes that major muzzle blast it's the M44. I guess if I had to pick only one it would be the M44. I guess the good things about the Mosin have already been pointed out. They are so plentiful and cheap (in price) that you can have both in a short amount of time if you want. Again, you won't be sorry.
  14. You won't regret it. I love my "black rifles" but there is large fun to be had with the Mosin rifles. Love my M44 and 91/30 and love the prices of the 7.62X54R cartridge. Oh yea...and as others have pointed out, the muzzle flash is impressive! Be sure to test that out in low light conditions in some high grass/weeds. It's some MAJOR fun!
  15. I've personally had good luck dealing with this operation in Middletown, Ohio. http://www.aimsurplus.com/
  16. Sweet! I have an acquaintance from Florida who's a class 3 gun dealer who has a really cool looking bull mastiff. He sure loves that dog! As a matter of fact he always includes pics of his boy on his online gunbroker auctions. Have a look. Oh...I have the same rifle BTW. Sept mines an A3! http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=168017574
