  1. 250 would be nice. Give it a screamer N/A motor. It already revs to 7500ish stock, let it breathe up there, and put the redline at 8500. Done.
  2. Yup. The power of subro. GL, might be totaled. Corvettes are a nightmare for repairs as they are all fiberglass. I can't recall the last Corvette that we didn't have to total...
  3. Would asking for it to be quicker than a Camry V6/Rav4 V6 be too much?
  4. ~2500 @ 70mph in 6th. 4th, 5th, and 6th are all geared VERY closely, for autobahn barnstorming, I guess? Wish it had a taller 6th, or 7th.
  5. No. You seem like a pretty smart fella, hopefully you're being facetious to make a point. In any case, OP, get Juiced! http://www.burgertuning.com/images/site_tops/F32_BMW_435i_JB4_4_series_downpipe_top.jpg
  6. I'm partial to the 2008-ish models myself. My Mom has had a few E350's over the years, and her '08 was the best looking IMO.
  7. His fault for carrying minimum coverage, that's the risk you run. I work in Insurance, my coverages are sufficient.
  8. If he has a registered motor vehicle in the United States, he must have car insurance. Where is his Insurance Provider in all of this? He doesn't need to ask strangers for money. He needs to call his Insurer and file a claim.
  9. - LGT Wagon (dunno if the wagons came in Spec.B form?) - WRX Wagon (less pretty version of the LGT) - Volvo V70R (find it in a stick, and hang onto it forever) - Jetta Sportwagen (Is TDI + stick available in this country?) If you're flexible in terms of what you'd call a wagon, both the Mazda3 hatch, and Mazda5 MPV come in stick, and will be mechanically sound for as long as you live.
  10. Didn't know you could buy a Taurus with a flat-4 engine and a Subaru badge. Learn something new everyday.
  11. My Mom has had '08, '09, and '11 E350 4Matics over the years. They've all been flawless machines. The 3.5 V6 is about as bulletproof as it gets. Both the 5AT, and 7AT seem solid. Interior is vault-like. They cruise excellently, and despite the non-AMG stigma, acceleration is sufficiently potent.
  12. GOZIRRRRAAAAAAA!!!!!! Nice pick up. Cheers, to many happy miles for you. Also, extremely envious as the rate in which you pick up new toys. Ideally I'd have a stable of 3-4 cars, and rotate in new ones every so often. You're winning is showing right now.
  13. Okay, PAUSE! Have I missed something here on CR in the past few days? WTF is this GTR nonsense? Since when has the GTR been an Audi????
  14. How much is it actually putting to the tires though? It seems like "305" horsepower in Subaru-land doesn't really show much of a return, in terms of real world acceleration.
  15. Consider the fact that the seats are pictured in a Corvette convertible in the first place.
  16. So, why would you buy a 2015 STi over a 2015 WRX? Subaru has shot themselves in the collective dick with this car.
  17. Not sure if he's trolling about the car being stanced. Sure, it's low, but I spy Hankook RS3, and they don't look too stretched over those CSL-style wheels. I bet that car is quicker around an autoX than one would think.
  18. Co-signed. I foresee a lot of first (few) model year hiccups.
  19. HEY MAN, JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW, I'M DRIVING A BMW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. The racer looks nice, but it's an intangible element, just a marketing strategy. Subaru's performance cars have brought no new tech to the table in the U.S. since the original WRX in 2000, and STi back in 2004. Hell, the Jap-spec motor from 10 years ago is still more technologically advanced than the 2014 models. At least they used variable geometry turbos. I like the Subaru sound, and I WANT to like the prospect of running a Subie for DD/weekend fun. However, I dislike their continually inflating price tags, and with the lack of justifiable tech, why would I buy one?
