  1. Check my location, brotato, it would be pretty tricky to harass OSU girls from Irvine. My current partner is a UCI girl anyway.
  2. You see, after I graduated, everything went to Hell.
  3. Mainly because HPS/HP+ absolutely blow in any all manners of performance.
  4. I'm running EBC Yellowstuff up front for both DD/HPDE work. All of the more aggressive EBC's take some serious work to bed-in properly, before they are ready for track use. Performance is sufficient for HPDE (on street tires, with stock suspension...), with no instances of absolute loss of performance, although the binders felt a bit wishy-washy on track, never scary, or incompetent, but not race pad-like feel by any means, but equally competent to OEM for street work where a race pad wouldnt be. Operating range is huge, and usually after one light tap on the brakes, are ready to go. They are a bit more rotor intensive than an OEM pad, but nowhere near the level of a true endurance/race pad. Noise is comparable to stock BMW pads, with intermittent squealing during low speed, low brake torque application, but otherwise, smooth and silent. Cheap too.
  5. Bitchin'! White with black accents is just lovely.
  6. I was waiting for this. I've driven plenty of quick cars with DCT/DSG, or indeed torque converter autos, thank you very much. I full understand that they are technologically superior, I just don't care. Also, to Jones, I don't lust after modern Lambos or Ferraris, so that's a moot point.
  7. Not really interested, needs a stick to raise my pulse in the least.
  8. All Jeeps = Gross, yes in before the shitstorm. Get the FR-S.
  9. I'm about 90% sure that's my Mom's old house in New Albany. I'm going to be back in Ohio for the week of Thanksgiving during November, and this has piqued my interest.
  10. I will vouch for Achbach. Takes his time, but repaired my car beautifully after a jackass backed into it in a parking lot.
  11. Surprising, considering you go through VAG cars, like I go through vag.
  12. This! I tend to stock up when they re-stock the shelves, because all the Euro guys snatch it up quickly. For a while, they had a sale, and it was $18 for the 5qt Mobil1 0w-40. Hopefully that comes back soon, was only able to grab one at my local WallyWorld as everyone else swooped in.
  13. The car is crap. If you want to flip things, buy the car as is, and part it out. Gearbox, Turbo, wheels/tire, etc.
  14. Good call. The Gen2's look cool, but just don't seem to drive with the same fervor as the older cars. Oh, and all of them blow up in due time. Has Mazda ever made a reliable turbo car tha'ts not a diesel?
  15. Yes, you're an involved person.
  16. Before you inevitably drive it, I'm curious, how many points are currently on your license?
  17. Interestingly, I think that I loved my Mazda more than the Bimmer. However, I feel like the difference in the amount of time I've owned the cars, and the experiences I've had with them is swaying me.
  18. 125 on the back straight? Pussssyyyy. Only joking, sounds like you had a blast. MidO is a fun one.
  19. Haters gonna hate. Yellow on a 'Vette isn't in my Top 5 choices, but it's still a mean looking car. A cam'd/modded all black C7 cruising down the freeway at night would likely make a Prius piss it's pants in fear.
  20. Any of the three Enkei wheels have my vote. I loved my RPF1's, but those NT03 in those sizes are boss.
  21. Looked at some of the pictures of your gear, all looked meh. Go shopping with Bob, or anyone else who knows how to dress well.
  22. If you try and DL on the first day it's out, the leech:seed ratio is stupid, so initial speeds blow. My internet is nothing special but about a day or so after release I'm cruising atleast 500kb/s, peaking ~2mb/s. Yes, never do 1080i, it'll take years, I just pick 720p it looks plenty sharp on my computer screen.
