  2. Welcome to the site. Enjoy your ride. I'm sure you'll find some of the Columbus people who ride up that way. I had a contract to do some work in the Rolls-Royce plant in Mt.Vernon some years back. It seemed like a big, small town with a nice feel to it. Wish I could remember the name of the mexican restaurant on main street over by the RR plant. Found my dinner there often. It was pretty good. Probably long gone by now.

  8. Welcome to the site. Enjoy your ride. I make several runs a year up to Buck Creek State Park near Springfield. It's one of the newer and nicer parks.
  9. I've lived in West Chester for 20+ years. I like it. If your father is going to drive around the Cincy area, West Chester has quick access to i75, i71 and i275. The town has some nice parks. The shopping and restaurants in the area have improved greatly over the years. The east side of West Chester (near Mason) is older than the west side. The west side is probably considered more upper class with the area around Becket Ridge estates being the hub. It's similar to Dublin up by Columbus. The township directly north is called Liberty Township and it's very nice also with newer developments. Maineville has a good 'up and coming' reputation. It still has a lot of open areas. All the areas you listed are nice.

  11. The original key for my Kawasaki Vulcan 750 had developed a slight twist to it. I called around to several places in the area and found one that had the blanks. I suggest you call first, not all locksmiths carry all the blanks for motorcycles. The place is called Securetech Inc and it's located at 755 US-42 in Mason, south of Tylersville Road. It's behind the wallpaper outlet (really behind, you can't see it from the street you have to drive behind the buildings). Phone number is 513.459.9914 I just want to say they did a great job for me. The key was twisted just enough that they wound up using the key code on the original to cut me a new key for the cost of a copy. It's scary how fast someone with the code can cut a key. Their prices seem in the ballpark with copies for my bike costing $3.75. With the start of the ride season I'm sure there will be plenty of keys that need to be made. If you're near Mason, Ohio I can recommend this place.
