  1. Wilmington seems like a central place for the Southwest Ohio area. Thought it might be nice for a meet-n-greet. I hit a fast-food burger joint when nature calls. They're a little cleaner than a gas station and usually open. The folks I ride with usually one of them is going to the bathroom while the other is buying a large soda. It's just never ending....
  2. Has anyone tried Beaugrad's Southern Bar B Que on US68 in Wilmington? http://www.beaugardsbbq.com/ Any good?
  3. Thanks jbot, made me laugh. I wave at anything and everybody. If I don't get a wave back, that's their problem, not mine. I do feel bad when someone waves and I'm too busy to return it, I usually try for a head nod or an engine rev. Every once and a while I get a laugh when someone coming at me does one of those waves where they sit up real tall and do an open hand full arm arch from one side of their bike to the other. A real "Howdy!" wave.
  4. Welcome to the site from another vulcan 750 owner
  5. I've been on OH-350 through Ft. Ancient (red arrow on right) going east. I now avoid it. It's a hairpin turn at the bottom of a steep hill. You have to take the turn and then start climbing up the other side of the hill. Two lane road (one lane in each direction). Cars float over the center line in the turn all the time. The road is washed out on either side so there's at least a 6 inch drop off from the asphalt. There's just no place good to ditch it if something goes bad. The first arrow on the left on Kings Mill is just a sharp turn with lots of car traffic. The only challenge is not getting hit by a car. It's not what I call fun but I'm sure that some people look for this kind of thing.
  6. Welcome jsheikh. Athens has got some nice ride areas for your bike, don't get too distracted from your studies.
  7. Hey tblade !!! Welcome to the site from another West Chester native. I'm that slow moving old guy on the cruiser that you zip past. Here's the question for today... If we live in West Chester, shouldn't there be a town called Chester somewhere close to the east of us?
  8. Welcome. I learned something new today, there's a Houston, Ohio.
  9. I think Google Voice is great. 1) I give out one number and I can decided if it rings one or all of my phones by day and time. 2) Free long distance 3) I can conference 4 people. 4) I can set up a phone number in different area codes so that the call to me is a local call for the people in those area codes the only thing that irks me is that some people leave their entire message when the system asks for their name. I'd like to have the ability to change the system message to make it clearer. Great stuff. Thanks Google. voice.google.com
