  1. Just out of curiosity...why would you sell a perfectly good 06...to buy an 07? I could understand if it was a different bike...but?

    07 you gain 1 hp...and lose 7.2 lbs. :dunno:

Nothing against Brn's bike. It's phenomenally gorgeous.

Wish i had the $. Best of luck with the sale.

07 came factory equipped with a steering stabalizer 06 did not. Less miles, OEM body work. Those are just a few that I see.

  2. sorry brian..

it was an important call. I had an order i placed for a limited production chrome and gold "live to ride, ride to live" screamin eagle jacket conch (extra large of course)

it was on back order and the sales person in the motor clothes department was trying to help me decide if i should wait it out or if i should just switch my order over to a leathar hat with flames on it.

sorry i was driving slow, but like you noticed my clutch hand was occupied, not that i shift gears that much anyways.. usually i like to keep it in first and crack it wide open then just let it engine brake back down to idle.. and then repeat..

it wont happen again though, cause while i was on the phone with the sales person, she was telling me about this bad ass doo rag that keeps your cell phone held against your ear. best part is its BLACK with habenero pepper and nipple graphics all over it.

anyways maybe i can make it up to you... ill let you come with me on our next ride.. we are going from my house to the harley dealer, they should let you in the doors as long as you walk it with a bad mutha fuckin harley owner like muhself.

then maybe you can get you a real bike

    and a few $50 t shirts

    :D

  3. The LSL kit is spendy, but it's also top quality. The machined top clamp is very nice. I have the stock clipons too, but it already had the LSL kit installed when I bought it.

Best of all worlds with that! Very nice! If that setup is on the list then the SV with the LSL would be my first choice!

  4. It really depends on how you ride. The SV has very useable power delivery.

Naked SV1Ks are kind of hard to find. I have the SVS with the LSL Superbike Bar kit...it the best of both worlds, naked riding position with good wind protection.

Nice! I wanted that on a few of my last bikes but couldnt pull the trigger $$$ Instead I bought a Speed Triple. Do you have any pics of your bike on here?

  5. All are good bikes.

I'd probably rate them as so:

FZ1 comfy, ride from here to FL only stopping for gas. Good 2up bike. Sport touring classed but well versed.

Z1000 This is a close second. Great hooligan bike. Lack of fairing makes it not the best for expressway riding.

SV V-twins sound awesome and great bike off the line. Most usable power of the 3. Least comfy of the 3.

All the bikes will have plenty of aftermarket parts. The SV you can change out the forks and front end with a GSXR's. Again all good bikes just depends on what you want it for and what fits YOU the best.

  6. If you are going to live in LA, you will need a motorcycle or you might pull a Micheal Douglas and get out of your car while still in traffic, claiming all you want to do is go home. Of course if you get a ticket, you will be paying out of your ass. I know someone that had to pay $300 just because she turned left as the traffic light turned red. Then she had to go to traffic school as well. If you're Mexican and you have alot of babies, that's ok though. No problemo...

Falling down was a great flick! The Wammy Burger scene was my favorite!

  7. not sure what I'm going to replace it with... I'm debating on buying a new car. Or finding something used. I've looked at a bunch of used stuff since yesterday morning but people want blood for junk...
