  1. He had some bruises and cuts from glass, that's it. For me, just walking away and not being a total mess for years after that is "ok" to me.
  2. This guy is looking to build 42 into a racers track. That means good surface, good prep, and a good program. The fact he is such a top level stock and super stock racer means knows a thing or two about how a track should be run.
  3. I was talking with my dad about this, it is VERY good news for racers and could be bad news for Trails....
  4. This makes me want to build a rotary powered F-body, and I'm talking a rotary that sounds like it will rip your soul out while on the 2 step :fuckyeah:
  5. From what I read it was close to 200mph. Standing mile and land speed racing is no joke. You make a McSteak doing that and you are going to have a bad time.
  6. Driver is ok but I don't think the car is going to be saved...
  7. Its funny how all the people chugging the Obama-aid keep ignoring the tax end of this. They seem to want to talk about guns, zimmerman, aborition, and anything else. I guess they don't want to talk taxes since that whole IRS thing got put out of sight out of mind. Oh, then you have this little gem... http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/20/us/politics/for-lawmakers-a-gold-plated-insurance-exchange.html?_r=0
  8. :dumb: Yep totally dubbed over. ... http://www.dragzine.com/news/video-11-second-rotary-powered-chevy-nova/

    Walking Dead

This is what I gather from this thread.
  10. I was really praying that Lou Holtz took his under the desk whiskey bottle and smashed in on mark may's fat face. It really is painfully clear the agenda Mark May and ESPN has against the big 10 and OSU. Then having to listen to Brian Greaseball and his bullshit during the game was just painful.
  11. "Hey mate, let's stick that top fuel motor in a door car, and run it on 90% nitro" http://bangshift.com/blog/6000hp-top-fuel-mustang-lives-in-australia-holy-smokes-this-thing-is-all-time-and-there-is-video.html "Eh, that's not crazy enough, let's stuff some V8's into janky bike frames and race on sand"
  12. Depending on when you ran, tires you were on, and power getting put down made the difference. When I was up on the line reading the track it looked like trails, bald spots and no tack. The index cars oiled down the track constantly. Overall I would say the track was extremely inconsistent and it really was luck if you got good prep, especially if you were on radials.
  13. Well it originally started at 1k and just kind of went up from there.
  14. You spoiled the fun :gabe: I guess I should have been 100% more clear and made the mcsteak that people would know this was a heads up race :lolguy:
  15. In that video you can't see Ray run him down as much as this video:
  16. That would require Keith putting some man pants on and running his car out the back door.
  17. The guy with the Bel-Air Pro Mod is right now with the 6.53 I think.
  18. Quoted for truth! A good track should: Cause newbie crew memebers to fall down due to how sticky it is, cause shoe souls to be torn off the bottom of said shoe, and stick so much it causes cars to bog at the hit. Up at the Shakedown this year at Norwalk I saw a guys son fall flat on his face because he stuck to the track. They give you a "stupid sticky" sticker if you do that, or put your car almost on the bumper.
  19. You should be down track when this bitch is trucking along, it sounds like the devil himself is coming to fuck your wife, drink your beer, and date your daughter. I need to put together the video I have from your record passes this winter.
  20. That guy has been racing for over 16 years, first time he ever had any type of issue. Small tire racing can get dicey real quick, he made a couple of wrong choices and lost big.
  21. This is why you never skimp on safety gear. Skip to 3:00 for the start of the fun
  22. Back bumpers just slow you down :fuckyeah:
