  1. I know I ask a lot of questions and have a lot to say but I'm a noob so please bare with me.

I've been working on my startoff and am getting quite a bit better.

So now here's my next problem.

I find that occasionally especially on right turns at decent speed I've found that I am rolling the throttle as I'm pushing and leaning. I know I'm supposed to gently roll throttle exiting a turn but I find that I'm doing it all the time, even entering and during the turn. I believe that part of the issue is that I shouldn't have started on a 600 because its not forgiving AT ALL with mistakes. It doesn't care and has no feelings. It doesn't care if it kills me, it just wants to go.

I'm guessing that my arms are too straight or my grip is too low causing the throttle issues but again its a guess. When its happening I'm concentrating on not dieing and not on what's exactly happening cause its happening too fast. I hope mabe with all the riders here mabe someone knows what I may be doing. I do understand that its difficult to tell without seeing me but mabe this is a common thing?

    As always thanks

This sounds like your a little too tense.

  2. My fiance' just walked into the msf course and passed this weekend. She was very nervous but ended up having a lot of fun. Prior to the class she was only willing to go up and down the driveway. She did maybe a mile or two on our rd. Now she is excited about riding and even thinking about buying a nicer bike.

  3. you were probably one of people I passed on my way in, dick. If you say the pics your head would spontaneously implode, along the same lines as madusa and turning to stone.

ooooooooooooo..... HI! you have a purdy hole on your back end :D

So these pics do exist? I'm calling your bluff in the head imploding thing. Prove it!

Ok I knew you liked the hole in the backside of my bike. I didn't even notice you checking out my backside. Your one stealthy creeper.

  4. I more than likely will... Like I said lol I cannot get that knee down to save my life. I want to Race in the series next year.

Getting your knee down is not going to save your life on the street but trying to get it down on the street could cost you your life. I'm not even going to try to explain how its better to not try to get your knee down. I'm not trying to be mean I just don't wanna hear about you hurting yourself out there.

  5. 41hp here

Thanks go out to Brian at Dyno tune for hosting the event.

My afr's were off last year and this year with cam2 my bike was a little lean but almost on par.

Yeah I wish we would have hooked the sensor up to check the a/f ratio on my bike. I didn't have the pairs system removed until after I got my tune done. I think I have some room for improvement. The stock numbers for my bike are around 152 HP and I only put out 149 today.

Thanks Brian for hosting this I had fun.

  6. The second story is from London rider from Springfield. Keny rd is literally right behind my work. I drive on it a lot there's some curves but nothing crazy. Speed limit is 35mph.

    RIP riders.

Guys and girls please keep it in mind the dangers of riding a motorcycle and don't raise the stakes by riding irresponsibly. It's early in the season the roads are dirty take your time so we can ride the rest of the season. Make sure your bike is well maintained. Be safe yall.

  7. I'm not a fan of large group rides. There are too many variables that are out of my control. The exception to this is rides that are for a cause. They tend to be more organized and have less morons to avoid (in my opinion).

I prefer groups of 6 or less. How I ride depends on who, where, and how. The location / road determines how much I'm willing to push it. If there is more people the less I push it. The who is the others I'm with and the how is their style ability skill and comfort. I prefer to ride in the back. If the other riders are new I'm not pushing them and can give them some pointers. If they are more confident riders I don't want them to feel I'm in their way and will let them take off. If I've ridden with a rider for a while and we know what to expect from each others style I may push it a little more.

I had a friend that I used to ride with a lot we would do things that I would call stupid near other people. But we were both comfortable with riding a little faster. If one of us felt uncomfortable we would back off we wouldn't play the chase the fastest rider game.

I never push it while riding with a passenger. Just a rule I have for myself.

By myself I occasionally ride "like a dumbass" but never around others.
