The far east? Isn't that where they make cheap toys and ugly hookers? I have one of the shortest drives if not the shortest. I guess it makes up for the mileage I put down going to that pizza place out east.

I'm guessing your insurance is do to age. Until I turned 25 the only place I could get a decent price for insurance was state farm. When I bought my cbr progressive wanted me paying more a month for insurance than the bike payment. That's with a clear driving record. Some places wouldn't give me a quote. Check out Tito Paul in Delaware he's the best I could find.

I'm down I will have to get there a little early because I leave for work about 1230 that day. So if we get a head count I will get us a table.

Welcome. I live around the corner from blackwing and try not to go there. In my opinion they are overpriced. I prefer to go out to Norton sporting goods to buy guns and stuff. Also I've been a member at blackwing and wasn't happy with them. There have been a few occasions where their employees have said some things that rubbed me the wrong way. They only time I go to blackwing is when the weather is bad and I feel like shooting. Otherwise I go out to the range on 229.

My second suggestion is the Tilton Hilton on turkey foot point at Indian lake. Try their 1/2 lb. Burger or tender loin. After that if its a weekend stop by froggy's but bring your swim suit to check out their swim up bar.

The g&r is my first suggestion. I was hoping to get some input from other riders on here. Apparently 1000rrrider likes fast food.

I don't know how the multiple posts happened my phone was acting weird when I posted this up last night. Sorry guys.

I don't know how well this will do or if its been done before. If its been done sorry. I have been thinking that most of the time I go on a long ride I end up eating while out. I prefer real restaurants over fast food. Also there are a lot of days I want to ride but don't have a destination. I've been watching the food network and noticed they come to Ohio a lot. Which got me thinking we should have a list of great food stops worth riding to. I think we could put food stops we like, where they are located and a website link to the restaurant if they have one. Any food we recommend to try. Maybe even a favorite route to take. Please refrain from posting up major chain restaurants that can be found in most towns. I'll start off with the G&R grill in waldo Ohio. Located at 103 north Marion street waldo Ohio 43356. Food to try- the famous fried bologna sandwich or the country boy burger. gandrtavern.com open 8-11 mon-thurs and 8-12 Fri+sat. They don't except cards. Cash or check only.

Rust is my biggest worry. I have also heard that the road salt can really make any aluminum on the bike look like shit. Now that could just be a myth. My bike is mostly black and even if the roads are dry it gets covered in salt. After a cold ride I hate to spend the time in the cold garage cleaning the bike. As far as riding the salt makes the road seem "sandy" like the tires can't get a good grip on it. Also the tires and road are cold so that lessens the grip also. I normally go out and ride in the early spring there's still some salt on the road and its cold I just take it easy while I ride.

I agree my bike is too pretty to be covered in salt.

My bike is pretty loud but I like it that way. Couldn't tell you why. Just love the sound of a bike with a nice exhaust.

I'am not sure if this is a repost or not, but its worth checking out.

I like the part where he stated " I didn't notice any performance improvement" lol duh. Maybe he should take it to dtm and have Brian give it a tune. Wait that guy would probably prefer to make his own dyno out of a 50 gallon drum and a heart monitor he dug outta the trash. Wow. -
I am also a blue collar worker and I need to keep food on my table sorry guys.
-
Yeah I just hate paying someone a lot of money to have something fixed. Especially when that mechanic doing the work is getting a small fraction of the cost as payment and the shop takes the larger cut. If I think I can figure it out with a little guidance and advice I'm going to try to do it.

What's next they say motorcycles are too small for old people to see? So all motorcycles should be painted neon green, have a minimum of three Orange safety flags and a yellow strobe light.

Thanks again guys got it done learned a lot. Got about 100 miles on the new bearings and all is well.

I was talking more about the idiots that wander around in the road way not expecting cars to be there. As far as blind people go the ones I know are smart enough to not play in the road. They are familiar with the areas they walk around in and if they are not they seek assistance. Hybrids when traveling at road speeds make the same amount of noise as most production cars with a working stock exhaust. As far as the parking lots go hopefully the driver of the car would stop or honk the horn to alert a blind person or a tard that they are silently cruising through the parking lot. The point I'm making is we as a country idiot proof everything and make it easy for stupid ass people to thrive. Like all dumb warning labels. For example those windshield sun shades that people put up in their cars when they park them in the sun. They have a warning that says do not drive car with sun shade in place. Do you really want the moron who would try to drive their suv with their windshield blocked unless that warning was there cruising beside you while your on your bike on the highway? I'm not saying kill off people with disabilities. Just allow nature to run its course and allow stupid people to weed themselves out. The worlds over populated anyway.

This will ruin the drive-by abilities of the hybrids. I own a prius and love it. What the government apparently didn't take into account is all of them have this magical area you press in the center of the steering wheel. Press that and the car makes a noticeably louder honking noise. As for the people not noticing the cars presence its natural selection. "At risk pedestrians" just means people that should be cleared from the gene pool. Look both ways before crossing the street or else you may get slammed into at slow speed by a hippie car. It's not like these cars are silently creeping down the sidewalk chasing down people at 5mph. As far as parking lots go don't walk in the middle of the lane where cars drive and you'll be ok. It's crazy the government says my bike is too loud and my car too quiet. I just can't win.

This guy is such a dumbass he should be shot, oh wait a minute lol. Natural selection doesn't always work, damn.
