I bought a bagger and traded my cbr in, but this ride is still on. Where are you guys planning on meeting up with us?

thanks yeah its different that's for sure. It's crazy how forgiving the stratoliner is. It's a more relaxing ride.

You know that's one of the things on my to do list for it. As far as why not have both I can't afford that. The cbr was just a little too much for the street. I do plan on getting a track bike soon.

But I'm now a bagger instead of a crotch rocketier. I traded my cbr in for a yamaha stratoliner.

So I've done a little research but haven't found clear answers. I'm a little fuzzy on how the reciprocity works. Do we just need to follow the ccw laws of Ohio to carry in other states? Such as Kentucky Tennessee and North Carolina. That doesn't seem right to me does anyone know where I can get the laws of these states? I plan on going to tail of the dragon July 9-11. I have my ccw for Ohio and know that Ohio has a reciprocity agreement with the above mentioned states.

Get ahold of casper or cbrgirl. But I think they are a little busy. Maybe some of the mods know for sure if there are any left. I bought mine during the ride on Columbus event last year.

Planning another 555 ride on July 3rd. Plan is to meet in Marysville around 8:45 am at the McDonald's on 31. Then slab it to Lancaster meet others at ihop and eat around 1015. Then take 37 to 555 to 550 to 56 around Athens to jimbos (eat here) then to 23 north then go our separate ways. I'm going to continue to 270 west/north to 33 to 42 then home. So far its myself and 3 Harleys. Let me know if your interested.

Mine mount under the passenger seat. Then I have them strapped to the passenger pegs by the straps that came with them. I think they are supposed to strap under the tail but I can't do that due to my undertail exhaust. You can still have a passenger. I love mine because we can take the bike to eat and not have to worry about how to get the leftovers home.

I just reserved my room at the two wheel inn in robbinsville NC for the 9th and 10th of July. Still have a trailer spot if there is any interest. Also can fit a bike in the truck bed if 2 people wanna join us.

A lot of the guys I ride with give me shit about the bags until we go on an all day ride and I've got gatorade candy bars and what ever else I feel like. We will stop for a stretch and they will say man I wish I had a water and I'm like yeah if you had saddle bags you could. Then normally I give them a water and they never give me shit again about the bags.

I have coretech bags on my cbr. No pics but people ask me if they are stock. Lol. I got them at iron pony.

I haven't synced the carbs I have had them off and when I looked inside (about a year ago) they were super clean. I assumed they were recently done but by the sounds of it sounds like they were done wrong. From what I've heard carbs are easy once you learn about them. I'm hoping someone can help me out so I can learn. The bike is real fun in my opinion a lil rough but fun. I love to ride it but I don't have enough faith in it to go more than 10-15 miles on it. My fiance will only go the 1 mile to the end of our road on it due to my lack of faith in the bike. The only time it has done anything bad was she stalled it once and it wouldn't start. I've replaced the old battery with a new one so that's no longer an issue.

So about a year and a 1/2 ago I bought an 85 kawi ltd 550 for my fiance. It's no show bike. It has a lot of small issues. If someone is willing to help me sort some issues out and make it a little more reliable. I would gladly provide some brews or sodas if that's what your into. If its the beers you choose I would prefer to stay sober while working on the bike. One of the previous owner's did a lot of "customizing" so there's a bit of mystery with some things on the bike. Some of the issues are there are wires that plug into nothing, it runs a little rough, it leaks fuel. While riding it if you hold the gas just before it reaches redline the rpms jump but the bike seems to slow. The pitcock has 3 positions res. (i assume reserve), on (on) and pri (?wtf). I have rebuilt the pitcock but the fuel fills the carb bowls and over flows the left side carb in all 3 positions. It will run all the fuel outta the tank. The pri position drains it the slowest. The other 2 you can watch it drip out the pri position seems to do it slow enough it doesn't hit the ground. Anyone willing to help we can do it at my place or yours if your local.

Ok I feel like a jack ass. My bad guys this shoulda been the 2nd thing I checked. I grabbed the stock light and plugged it into the harness (under the seat didn't have to remove the light or fairing). It worked so I decided well I'll just reinstall the stock light. I was going to leave the bad one in so I could take the bike that way I'd have signals to run to iron pony grab some signals to go with the stock light. I plugged the harness back in and for whatever reason I checked the brake light. Wishful thinking, but it worked when I pressed the rear and front levers separately. Sorry for wasting your time but it was a loose connection. Thanks for the help guys. I feel like an idiot now.

I've had fuses that I've checked visually they looked fine then I put the thing that looks like an ice pick/screwdriver with a light inside on it and it showed the fuse was bad.

I'm going start taking fairings off and checking stuff. I gotta run to my dads to borrow a fuse tester. (i don't know that's not what its called but I know how to use it. Lol.)
