  1. Hey Doc! Welcome back! Remember riding with you a few summers back, hope to do it again soon!
  2. Lol I had no idea this post would be so popular!
  3. That is a great write up moto-brian! I didn't even think to compare the 675R since they were closer in price. Gives me something to think about there, upgrades are great to have. I am reading all of these and taking all of this into consideration. I have read so many articles, watched so many videos and they are all different lol. Just seems like it's all about what the rider likes at that time as one video said the 899 blows the 675 out of the water hands down, then the very next one says the 675 is the best bike period lol. They all seem like subjective reviews. I did look at dyno's and stats on the bikes and the 899 was better in alot of things, but again I was looking at the 675 not the 675R. I should of thought about the R in the first place. Feel kind of embarrassed about that lol. Please keep the comments coming! I am taking them all in consideration. If you have a good link to an article or a video please post that as well. Hopefully we get enough stats and opinions in this thread it helps someone else later on as well who might be looking at one of these bikes. Thanks again all who has posted and keep them coming. I was going to pull the trigger next weekend but I think this decision is goin to take alot longer than another week to make! Thanks again all!!!
  4. Good Evening All, I sold my bike to buy a boat a few months back,... I don't think the boat thing is going to happen. No place to store it in the winter, ALOT more expensive to maintain, ect... I have had 2 Triumph Daytona 675s, one a 2009 and then a 2012. Loved the bikes! Best track bike I have ever had! worked ok on the street. The ergos were not the best for street riding. I was going to go out next weekend and pick myself up a 2015 675 when I got the urge to just take a look at other bikes and see if one catches my fancy. Well,... of course one did! This is where I need some advice from all you track guys and street guys too! I am comparing a 2015 Triumph Daytona 675 and a 2015 Ducati Panigale 899. Can you guys that have rode these bikes give me the pros and cons of the two? I know the triumphs very well actually, but I have zero experience with a Ducati. Let me know any and all experiences you guys have had with these two beautiful machines. I am trying to do all the research on these two bikes, but damn that Duc is sexy! Let me know what you guys think of the two and what you would use and any issues you guys have had with these brands. Any and all info is helpful, I do love the 675s but that Duc is amazing, just want to make sure I don't buy the wrong bike because of looks. Thanks All!!!

They are section 504 row 11. Please contact me ASAP at 330-307-8088. Call or text, makes no difference, asking 110$ for both tickets.
  11. ahhh I see.... Thanks for being honest with me. Just thought now would be a good time to sell it so that if anyone wanted to buy it they could spend all winter customizing it or turning it into a track/race bike. Am I wrong on thinking that?
  12. She is still for sale =) no one needs a mint 675? Is the price wrong? share some insight with me. What can I do to sell her quicker? Im a pretty motivated seller...
  13. Bike is officially for sale. We found a house we really like. $7,000 OBO.
  14. Hey all, Just throwing this up here as a feeler to see if anyone would be interested. Me and the wife are thinking about buying our first house and need to eliminate some debt. I just thought I would throw this up to see if there was any interest in it. I still owe on it and would have to pay off the lien before the title was handed over. My last bike I did that and it took about 2 weeks for the title to come. The bike has 3300 miles on it, I barely rode this summer, maybe 800 miles tops. It has been sitting most the summer and it's the easiest thing to eliminate at the moment to free up some cash. Let me know if you are interested, im looking for about 6500 - 7000 for it. Let me know if im off on the price too. Here are a few pics. Oh yea!!! it will come with an extra left fairing, I bought the bike from a dealer in Texas that I buy all my bikes from and he shipped it to me. There is a small tiny chip in the fairing so he sent me a new fairing. Ill give that as well. I never put the fairing on cause the chip is so small it never bothered me cause I couldn't tell it was there most the time. Everything is still factory, no add ons. Here are some pics.
  15. Sorry I have not posted sooner to this thread,... honestly I didn't expect to log on and see three pages of responses lol. I have been stuck working the last few days so I apologize not responding sooner. The dealership near me wanted $131 for an oil change, screw that! I still need to change it, where's the best place to pick up the stuff I need? And I did not expect so many people to offer to help! thank you all so much! This is what makes this site and riders in general such a great group of folks!
  16. My location is on my avatar?? I can see it at least. I'm in Hinckley Ohio, just south of Cleveland near Brunswick and Strongsville area
  17. Ok so as embarrassing as this is, Will someone help me with an oil change lol. I am about as mechanically stupid as you can get. I just never thought working on cars and what not was interesting so I never learned how. I have always took the bike to a dealership for work and maintenance. Last time I took it to a shop they f*cked it all up and had to get a lot redone over a long time. I got a free track suit out of it, but still lost the bike for awhile. Would anyone be willing to help me do just minor maintenance stuff? Like oil changes and I would love to set the spring up for me. Let me know! I have lots of alcohol and still have a lot of xmas ale. If hard liquor is your thing, I am stocked on that as well! lol. Thanks!
  18. Is my NESBA membership still good? Is it still the same perks?
  19. I am really glad that I could help some guys on the fence make a decision one way or another with my experience. I have had this great experience as I see a lot of folks with bad experiences as well. I guess it's all hit and miss, but so far I have had nothing but easy sailing with Triumph. From getting work approved to the free suit, I just really don't have too much negative to say. I will say this though. I had a 2012 with three different issues. That is definitely not cool. It was all taken care of, but I keep reading that these exhaust valves keep going bad and the R/R issue is still an annoyance that most have. The great customer service does help cope with the minor negatives, so anyone thinking of buying a Triumph, just be aware of these issues as well.
  20. Just wanted to say that when I woke up the suit was on my porch! They overnight aired next day the suit to my via fedex. I couldn't believe it! I woke up and there was this huge box on my porch. Said Triumph on it and I thought NO WAY! Sure enough there it was. It even came with a back protector!!! Ill throw pics up as soon as possible! Again A++ CS all the way from me. They definitely made a customer for life from me!
