  1. Looks like 3/36 for the federal mandate. Thank you for your responses though.
  2. My engine light came on on my 2013 Honda Pilot. Of course at 63k, while in Florida on a mini-vacation with warranty expiring at 60K. Turns out it is my EGR valve that needed to be replaced at my cost. Car guys....why did this happen on a 1.5 year old vehicle? Should I be pissed and pursue Honda? Or suck it up to normal wear and tear? $300 wasn't horrible, but in a Honda with 63k miles? Thoughts? Also, could I have contributed to its demise somehow?
  3. BTW....you can rent a Uhaul trailer for $15-$30/day depending on size.
  4. I don't have a dog in this fight. As far as I know, Linux is Snoopy's friend with the blanky. To the last point though.... I can choose not to purchase a good or service, unlike a tax. Apples and oranges here.
  5. Cabelas is full of dumb-asses. Told me there was no such animal as a single barrel trap gun made by Browning. Apparently the BT-99s are in the gun library instead of with the autos and doubles. Moron.
  6. I personally haven't had issue with that, BUT I do have a penis. Actually, I've probably typed more words on this forum in the past year than I've actually spoken. I tend not to indulge gun-store commandos. My interactions with them are generally limited to "have a lane? Thank you" And then "all done. Thank you". I generally don't consider people selling guns as experts on those guns. My bar is pretty low actually. Have what I want and don't piss me off while you deliver it (goods or service) to me.
  7. Election day is the first Tuesday of November. If you know you have to "work", get an absentee ballot. Right?
  8. Honestly, I just let the GPS take me there. It's like NE of Marion....not anywhere near a freeway. I just stop on my way back from Cleveland when I've ordered something. I've never shipped. I'll look for some emails to get a better bead on it. I won't post address on here since it's his home and by appointment only.Edit....it's in Galion.
  9. I've been buying my new guns from Keeley Arms. Look him up on the interwebz. He operates out of his home near Mansfield. He will either ship to your FFL or you can arrange to meet him at his house. He is a legit FFL and I believe a cop. Regardless, his prices are good and seem to have a consistent mark-up, keeping him below brick-and-mortars. For shooting, I have memberships at New Albany and Blackwing (shotgun only). Although their gun prices are too high in most cases, I find the people at New Albany very friendly and make it easy to shoot and shoot often.
  10. Unimaginable. What does one even say?
  11. I put a piece of cardboard under them. Don't know if it helps or not.
  12. Stats? All parties gerrymander. it benefits whoever does it. Do you need ID to go on welfare? Bring that one to the polls. Do you need ID to cash your guberment check? Bring that one.
  13. It's "urban" because it's not a fucking tourer! Chill out. Would you prefer "bar-hopper"? "Bike-night arm-wrest"? Lighten-up Francis.
  14. I guess I was leaning more to the defense of the hospital. Union mentality blames the mean-old boss instead of their own lack of sense.
  15. Ok. I get that. I think this is a great looking bike. The Vulcan 900 was on my original short list in its blacked out form, but I was dead-set on an America or the other small Triumph cruiser (forgot the name). I was very appreciative of my friend, though. He encouraged me to ride one first and it was horribly anemic. Much more so than even my 883. This Kawi probably gets along just fine and does look pretty cool. If I had the ability to get three bikes, I'd have my Victory (absolutely love that thing), a true sport-bike, and an urban cruiser like an Iron, Bonneville (ok...more of a standard), Guzzi V7, etc.....or even the new Ducati Scrambler.
  16. I call bullshit. Nurses know how to clean up puke and shit.
  17. Unless you are really looking for that urban hopper.....883, Bolt, Bonneville/America (nothing wrong with these if that's what you're looking for), you really want more torque in a cruiser or it will leave you flat. My Victory is 1700+ cc and has plenty to keep me smiling. I've ridden smaller cruisers that really take a hit on hills, 2-up, stop lights, etc.... That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed my old 883 for what it was.
  18. Funny stuff. On a good note, the deputy who quarantined the Dallas guy tested negative for Ebola. That bodes well.
  19. I can be reasonably successful at avoiding ellectrical accidents by following safety protocol. I can be reasonably successful at avoiding violent crime by avoiding certain areas, situational awareness, and self defense weapons. I can be reasonably successful at avoiding the HIV by not putting my dick in dirty things and the proper use of universal precautions. Until more is known about the "live time" outside of the human body, I can do nothing to prevent me from sitting in the same airplane seat that some Liberian Bloody McSneezy hacked on three flights earlier out of Newark International or Logan International.....both places where my livelihood requires me to frequent. That is what has me scared....I'm not in control and I'm not hearing solid info as to how to gain control. Zombies....I can also ward off zombies with crossbows, guns, and machetes. I know that you must brain one to effectively stop it.
  20. Some sources say that the employees were told not to fly and she did anyway. I have no idea if that's true or not. If so, shame on her.
