Pretty sure it's an 18.5" barrel. Smooth bore. No choke tubes. It has a great ghost sight on it. I use the rifled choke in my other Nova for the deers.

I've been trying hard not to love my 19, but no dice. Bought a Sig 239 to take over carry duties. Nope, still outshoot it with the Glock. It just plain hits where I point and points oh-so-naturally. For the people not liking the grip or the feel of Glock, try the Gen 4. That is all.

Honestly, I never shot at paper with a scattergun until this past summer. I've shot thousands of clays, a bunch of birds, a few beverage cans, but never paper. I took my Nova HD to the indoor range last summer and was shocked. Buckshot at 25 yards patterned point of aim about six inches around. Gave me tons of confidence for home defense.

I get really irritated by bastardized renditions of the Anthem, whether an R&B version, shitty comedian version, etc... BUT.....what is this, fucking Communist Russia? 1930s/40s Germany? Great purchase... I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not buying a Winchester when they were available. Also kicking myself for selling my Winchester 94/22. Those Marlins are going to be big fun!
