  1. Planning on being there for Saturday only.
  2. Welcome dude!:dirtbike:
  3. I got off with a warning at 20 over going through the college on the way to Nelson last weekend but that was a fluke I think. Generally, 9 you're fine 10 you're mine applies around these parts.
  4. Passed four yesterday in 22 miles. They were all already serving other customers. :wheeliezx10:
  5. And how about the BMW? Got any left?
  6. I wonder if they will make any money doing this. If they have a standard cost plus contract its a slam dunk. If not, well....
  7. Do you still have these for the BMW? Need a set but couldn't find them on the website. Found them on ebay but would rather patronize a site sponsor.
  8. Hi Marty, I was riding in the intermediate group on the BMW S1000RR. White Astars leathers and a mostly blue Arai helmet. I only rode on Saturday. If you could upload any pics you have it would go a long way in getting my wife off my ass. On our Alaskan vacation she averaged one picture every 90 seconds. The woman's insane with photos. Thank you good sir!
  9. Western Reserve Hospice is a good group of people. They helped us out in the past in a similar situation. All the best to you and your Dad.
  10. My drop came in a Harley dealership parking lot. Pulled up to a parking space doing a tight U-turn to back in and grabbed the brake a bit hard with the front wheel hard over to the left. Went to put my foot down, unfortunately it landed on some stones and out went my foot. I was able to hop off before the bike hit the ground and held it up for a bit but was just too heavy for the grip I had. Had to set it down, re-grip and lift it back up again. The sales people wouldn't even talk to me. Weird.
  11. I never drove the FZ1, but I did do a two up on it with Nick Inatch at Yamaha Champions last year. At the time, he was shooting video of one of the other students at the school who was on an R6. All of us were on R6's and all the instructors were on the FZ1's. Even with my extra 210 pound ass on the back, that FZ1 was right up on that R6 the whole time. I even thought about buying one but the wife has imposed a strict 2 bike limitation on me. My impression of that bike is that is plenty capable on the track if you want it to be.
  12. Not sure yet. It really depends on how long he will have the bike available. If he has it all summer like he did last year with the Triumph, probably all of that, but if its limited time we will have to see what we can work out. Will be fun for sure!
  13. Buddy of mine wants to do a shootout between that and my BMW S1000RR, next month. If we can get the details worked out you guys will be the first to know. Should be fun as hell!
  14. I don't know what half that stuff is but I plan on doing the track day on Saturday, I will be on a BMW S1000RR. With some highly stylized blue tape.
  15. Not to be the special needs rider here, but aren't the SV650's discontinued? What are guys buying to ride in the same class? I'm having a hard time finding one anywhere on the used market that isn't trashed.
  16. I drive an F150 but somehow have never ever had the urge to run over a guy on a bike. Somehow I guess I just wasn't born with that inbred "hick from the holler" gene.
  17. Just watched a discovery channel show on death row today. Last meal is different by state. Some serve whatever the chow hall is serving, I think it was Oklahoma that will give you whatever you want up to $15, another state was $40. Just shoot me. No death is instantaneous. But the gas chamber takes 4-7 minutes with lots of suffering and choking, hanging might take a while after your neck snaps, lethal injection is just paralyzing your lungs until the third drug is injected to stop your heart, (about a minute, long one), and the electric chair sometimes takes more than one jolt, with lots of burning flesh. Firing 4 rounds into your heart should stop it quick, with about 10 seconds of awareness until all the oxygen in your brain is depleted. Yup, just shoot me.
  18. Welcome! Sweet bike you have there. Track it at all?
  19. Great job! I remember my commercial to be the most idiotic checkride of them all. What the hell do chandelles and lazy eights have to do with flying screaming, puking whining farting drunken peeps all over creation? Ahhh well, great job and keep at it! Huge pilot shortage coming, so I hear.
  20. Maybe they are the prison chicks. :takeit:
  21. http://www.speedtest.net/result/1540850636.png On a fairly new macbook pro. At a Holiday Inn.
  22. They had those on all the bikes at the Yamaha Champions riding school. Very nice to have when you are going side to side on the bike all day.
