I think you are right. Gene Smith talked fast and took no questions, but made its ound like they all agreed these self imposed sanctions would be a worthy punishment. I could be wrong..

well, AFAIK, there is no autocross that weekend at OSU, maybe talk to someone who does scheduling with OVR-SCCA to find out who thier contact is? I belive the historical society is an option as well, but not positive, since the miata club uses OSU now too..

LIttle Brown Jug in Delware is next month, we will be going to that. Ohio State Fair is a big fat(litterally) joke. THe only reason to go is if you need to gain 10lbs from the food, or are into photography and like to do some nifty scary ride shots.

There are actually websites that help you do this too. I wish i could find the link to the place friends of ours used. The request was actually put in the bridal shower info, and not the wedding invite, as a polite way to keep the request for gifts out of the actual wedding invite.

I completley disagree with this. Whether my marriage lasts or fails, i will always have the memories i spent with all of my family that day, the bonds i made with my friends and sister during the planning, and the knowlege that i can handle planning such a major event. back to cake... Wedding i just shot did this for their cake. They had a smallish two tier cake, and a big sheet cake (the sheet cake if my calulations are right, fed around 70 guests) (more or less a visual for you) You could always do something similar to this, but forgoe the sheet cake for maybe a dessert bar with Cheryls cookies and brownies. I honestly feel though the cost of the cookies/brownies would be just as pricey as the sheet cake.
