  3. Yah I knew you pros had to carry some INS, I just wanted people to know about he rider you can do for hobby gear. I know to reads my lighting and everthig would make me cry.
  4. I make almost no money from my shooting, but I wanted all my gear insured in case anything happened. I'm basically posting this for informational purposes of other hobbyist, I'm sure tractor and Tim both have commercial policies. Anyhoo... You can add a floater to your homeowners policy to cover your gear. For me to cover ~3500 worth of gear was only 40 for the year with no deductible. I have to be honest, going on vacation and raking my gear on a boat while parasailing was much less stressful knowing that I was covered.
  5. Newer model, not refurbished if those are my options. Better sensors likely, plus other functions, not to mention savage you the need to upgrade anyone soon. Does warranty come with replacement new?
  6. Saving my spot for when I'm home! Yay for our new forum section!
  7. We really need a strong showing at this June 21st meeting. Seriously. The village idiots fighting this will be there. A positive automotive community showing would be aces for our side.
  8. He has lettuces and tomatoes currently (that I recall) + some herbs. Tomoatos starts are sold at the worthington famers markets as well as blueberry, and raspberry canes, oh and eggs from da chickens he has.
  9. My neighbors have had a pager driveway as long as I have lived here. I know on occasion it needs weeded, and refilled the cracks by sweeping sand in them. There are also light curvatures where the cars drive up and down the driveways, but it still looks very nice.
  10. This is why I am happy we(cos) have a private location that I have been given Permission to kick people out of when they act like dicks. I just have no patience for it.
  11. Statewide, IIRC. and its been in effect AT LEAST since 2005, cuz thats when we lived in Dayton.. its a HUGE fire hazard to be that close, considering how many peole could be affected by a fire from one. Some complexes have made a public grill available because of this near pool areas. From what i recall about apartment living, they send out a letter at the beginnign of the season, and tahts all you may h ear about it. however, the complex i lived in, the fire department would come by and notify the complex who had them and then you could recieve a fine.
  12. it actually is Fire Code that they are not allowed. Ill see if i can find it. Apartment buildings are not allowed (some dont care) that you cant have them. We learned this wehen we moved into our apartment in dayton. http://www.villageonthegreenhoa.com/images/ohio_fire_code_grilling.pdf Here is the whole ORC on it.. http://www.gdaa.org/legislative/ohio-fire-code/ PDF has the codes.. I think they are valid state wide, still reading..
  13. As far as building a shed.. (columbus city limits question) if you already have one, do you need a permit to build a new one?
  14. Alot of the COS'rs are stuck on the Star Spec tires.. (including my husband).. we have some blizzacks i think for winter tires on teh RS. I have all seasons for the first time ever, and i have to say, i dont trust them i like i did my dedicated winters. Maybe irrational fear, but they certainly dont feel as strong in the winter as my winter tires did on my old legacy.
  15. Lol.. NP. I have the grey coleman tent, feel free to plop a baby with me I welcome them.
  16. Ahh.. Rachelle, i missed meeting you today. I was there as well. Ill post pics at some point
  17. we got a personal loan, as opposed to a auto loan to buy nathans RS a few years ago, as KBB doesnt match up at all for that cars actual worth (im sure there are other cars like this) have you considered going that route? We knew we would pay it off early, so the higher interest wasnt an issue.
  18. It still is coming from the east. I have never seen It move east for this long a time frame.
  19. I have no issues with my 50mm1.8 on my d90 but that could be because I have never used a full frame.
  20. The 50mm lives on my camera.
  21. Im gonna have to agree with Tim here, in addition to what i say. When you buy glass, you keep it, for a long time, where as body's you can change out quite frequently.
  22. having switched from Canon to Nikon, i hvae to tell you, if you are used to the D60, i'd suggest staying with Nikon. the D90 can EASILY be had for well under 1000 (i got mine at Xmas for ~700 for the body) You could get body and a kit lens for 8-900.. I am very happy i made the switch. I still miss the way the canon feels, but I am very content with the d90.
