  1. Yeh, and you can see how valuable the serum will be.....$$ka-ching$$ Now, assuming this is close to true, look at what the influx of those young kids this past year did to our inception centers. Think of those numbers multiplied a hundredfold or more. And those people being infected...or possibly infected. Staggering, isn't it. Of course these are worst case numbers, in the meantime maybe build that wall....lol....and once again our border situation comes to the forefront. To be humanitarious or not....and are we really confident what we are hearing from the govt concerning this, to be the full truth? That truth might spur panic, and that's going to make it worse. Can't worry about it, life goes on and all that rot......
  2. Let me load up.....bwahaha
  3. Now there has been a shooting in St Louis, a kid was shot dead. Police: Officer fatally shoots man in St. Louis "ST. LOUIS — An off-duty police officer fatally shot an 18-year-old man who opened fire during a chase in south St. Louis, sparking loud protests in the area, police said Thursday..... .....Hours after the shooting, a crowd gathered at the scene near the Missouri Botanical Garden. Some shouted "Hands up, don't shoot" in reference to the fatal shooting in August of an unarmed black man, Michael Brown, by a white police officer in nearby Ferguson. That shooting led to weeks of sometimes violent unrest in the St. Louis suburb. Officer Darren Wilson has not been charged in the shooting....." http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/police-officer-fatally-shoots-man-in-st-louis/ar-BB8fYZs Guess its a good reason for another block party....errrr demonstration......errrrr riot.
  4. I doubt it too. Haven't heard anything this morning on his condition. Just that now Sharpton was going to join Jackson in Texas.......now there are a couple that, if they were infected, I could give a ratsass.....lol
  5. Hows the ol boy doing crazy? Hope he's still feeling good and you guys are still all hanging in there. Its tough, I know.
  6. Evidently a LEO who was in the dead patients apt is down sick and being quarantined. They're saying his symptoms do not match ebola but are taking no chances. And they're letting the dead patient's family decide whether he gets buried or cremated. The cdc requires the body be triple plastic wrapped, but imho, its a no brainer and I'm not sure why the family has a choice. Seems the body should be incinerated/cremated due to the fact that even though he is dead, the body can still pass the disease to someone else.
  7. Ok, gotcha. Still, someone with it sneezes near enough to an uninfected person, the snot can get ya. LOL, right?
  8. We always put a base of sand and gravel under pourings. I had a pad poured down here and they just poured it right on the clay.
  9. Sneeze spittle can be transferred via the air when you sneeze. To me that's airborn.
  10. Sneeze and the particles go airborne for up to 15 ft. I would imagine that applies too.
  11. Being a dog man, over the years I have lost many good buddies, and it always is terrible, but the memories are what got me through. Lots of memories of long walks, shooting over my dogs, the long rides home. Plus all the crazy stuff they did....lol...great memories. Even greater dogs. They say a man is lucky to ever have even one dog that is great. I am lucky to have had many like that. Hang in there.
  12. I've never done a quote for it, but I ran across this... http://www.houseneeds.com/learning-center/pex-tubing-radiant-floor-heating/pex-radiant-floor-heat-new- Not sure it applies to your needs, I was just digging around and found it.

    Roofers

Neighbor or not, your house is a significant investment. I'd opt to make sure my investment was taken care of before worrying about what your neighbor might think. But maybe that's just me..........
  14. Don't they now use PEX tubing? Seems its pretty reasonable and can be picked up locally at Menards and the like.
  15. I just can't take much of anything this clown says seriously. I would imagine we will begin to see (maybe its already begun) an inundation of pro democratic media blurbs, after all, we are about 2 yrs from the next Pres. election. Let the posturing begin..........
  16. If I were doing it again, I would install in floor heating, probably water heat, in combo with a forced air furnace using whateever fuel source is easiest and cheapest to get there. The each system should help keep the other system from having to be used too much resulting in an overall savings. I would add a few ceiling fans to help push air and run power out there by means of a sub panel if possible. Not sure what all you plan on doing, but I would think 150 amp's is sufficient. Bring power <in pipe> in underground if you can along with water and a couple of spare empty pipes <1" would work> for future needs. If the building is not visible from the road I would not bother with a permit. Thing is, I wouldn't be surprised to find out the jurisdiction you are in might now find out when you insure the additional building or for some other reason. In this day of electronic bs seems all these places are linked. If you choose to get a permit, build the basic structure <no floor, no electric, no amenities>, get the permit ok'd, the have at her. Tell them its just for storage. I've done this before and it works, but that was 20 yrs ago.
  17. I've had Silverstars in both Toyotas for over a year, noproblemo. I went with the higher output versions. Even have one in my bike headlight. Maybe I just got lucky 5 times over.
  18. Went thru much the same with our little dog a few years back. It hurts. Sorry to hear you are dealing with it too.
  19. All it will take is one person to formulate a complaint to some soft hearted politician, and she will be in for more trouble than she can shake a stick at.
