Western Dragon = Mulholland Drive in Calif.
-
I consider OH 555 a long version of the dragon. 65 miles compared to 11 miles. It takes just as much skill to ride both roads. My next major trip will be to start at the east end of the BRP in Virginia and ride it to the western end by Bryson City, NC. Then run the Cherohala up to Tellico Plains, TN then back up to the top of the Dragon and run it both ways before heading back home. Figure the whole trip will take 4 to 5 days.

Buddy sent this to me today... Bear coming in
myhondas replied to Beegreenstrings's topic in Pics and Vids
If that bear really wanted him, I doubt he could have exchanged the camera for the gun in time to persuade the bear otherwise...but that bear smelled him at the beginning of the video and was just curious as to what the hell this human was doing in his patch of the woods. Bears climb very well and could of been up that ladder in 3-4 secs tops. -
check out down to earth trailers they are down in georgia, but have som great trailers at very reasonable prices. they even sell them on ebay. I got a 6 x 12 v-nose that I haul with a chevy blazer. wish I had gotten the 7 x14 to 16 one now. I can get three bikes in mine, but would have liked to do 4-5. I think I payed about 4800 for my 2009 brand new. It has a finished floor & walls with three chalks and 6 floor tiedown rings. Plus it has z track on both sides.

I had to work for half of the day, but got about 70 in to make a really cool point in the life of this bike....

Been wanting/needing a drive-on lift for a long time. Can not lift my 74 CB750K4 or the 83 VF1100C with the Craftsman Lift that I have now due to the pipes being lower than the frame. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00950190000P?prdNo=13&blockNo=13&blockType=G13 Almost bought a unit from HF but held off….. now it is no longer available. My biggest problem is space. I have limited space at my shop and cannot have a lift sitting taking up space when not in use. So when I saw this unit, I said perfect. Lightweight and folds out of the way when not in use, yet rugged enough to handle my bikes. Also, allows me to get into areas easier than one with a 24” wide floor bed. In addition, I think that the ones with the wider and heaver floor bed, are a little more top heavy than this one. Yea, this was a little more expensive than the HF one $549 but it is a better fit for my needs and restrictions. http://www.kendonusa.com/cruiserlift.html I will probably build my own engine/bike block lift rather than pay big $ for this one…. http://shop.kendonusa.com/products/productdetail/part_number=BLFJ107A/3270.0.1.1

Yup, both look out of the window and see guy with mask on and gun raised....suprised he didn't have a neon sign announcing "ROBBERY" He is lucky he didn't fire his gun, cause I bet it would have been the coroner rather than backup that would have shown up.

Both of my magnas do that....love it when the 750cc blows away the 1200cc+ HD's They can't believe a low cc rice burner could walk away from them. Never any question on the 1100 V65 who will be there first. I have been thinking I should hide all the emblems on the bikes so that it is not so embarrassing for them

I am not a fan of crotch rockets nor HD's.....Street Bikes hurt me physically....I can't sit that way for very long.....HD's are what I call chihuahua bikes......all bark and no bite..... 2008 Harley FLHTC Custom Bobfork - $87000 (Las Vegas) If you are looking for a chrome plated sub-tech slow no stopping lousy cornering oil leaking louder than Crackatoa motorcycle with black and white tv era technology that you can pay too much for then this bike is for you. This bike will make up for your tiny manhood and eggshell ego and is perfect for that fat-#### tits on the ground tattooed smelly bovine nearly toothless "old lady" you lug around with you every where you go just so you don't have to kiss her goodbye. Now you can show up at biker events and mingle with other beer-aholic losers who play dress up with the black outfits and stupid vests covered in dumb slogan patches and cheesy trinket buttons and pretend like you're a "son of anarchy." This bike has enough chrome on it to blind you on a sunny day and enough money invested in it to keep my kids from having descent shoes or dental care. Why should they be different from Mom and Dad...right? If you buy it this week I'll throw in every other dumb thing I've bought just because it says "Harley" on it. Once you throw a leg over this beauty you can run that movie in your head where you're the big hero and chicks flock around you like flies. Actually those are flies, but your friends will tell you how "bad to the bone" you look and make you feel special spouting words like "screming eagle" and "stage one kit" and that alone is priceless in a world where you can get a personality from a dealership. So don't wait. Bust out that wallet tethered to you with a dog chain and plop down your kids college tuition and you can fantasize about being a man. This is your chance.

Salvage title, what to expect on inspection day?
myhondas replied to TsunamiMike's topic in Daily Ride
I rebuilt my 96 VF750CD Magna with parts from both regular companies, internet companies, and individuals off ebay. I printed all emails and paypal transactions and receipts from all companies. The whole process took about 15-20 minutes. Passed it right on. NOTE: They will ask you what was damaged and what you replaced. In my case, it was a total due to a frame paint scrape and all the misc small parts damage. I showed them where I repainted the frame and replaced all the damage parts. Also, included all the receipts for all the additional stuff I put on. Probably overwhelmed them with paperwork/receipts. -
I'd have to toss in N. Carolina. It has some really great roads and beautiful vistas. BRP, Cherohala skyway and many many others. Lots of twisties, sweepers, rises and decents.

Yea, besides....I am going to VMD @ Mid-Ohio too.....on the 23rd and 24th.... Forcast is for isolated ThunderStorms....let's hope thery are really isolated.

CRAP, If I was going to go down that far...I'd do OH555 from Zanesville to Parkersburg
-
I'll be there on Sat. Plan to walk the swap/shop area and then help out at the VJMC booth at the infield. Riding the 96 Magna rather than the 74 CB750K4....Got the 83 V65 torn down, so I can't ride that.

Anyone out there shooting a M1 or a springfield or any other 30 odd 6 caliber gun? I have a lot of ONCE FIRED National Match Brass for sale and a lot of Ball ammo for sale. In addition, I have a lot of Armor Piercing ammo that I willing to sell. I will have a table at the Medina Gun Show June 11,12 but am willing to sell prior to the show. If interested, let me know and maybe we can do some business.

you're probably right ... but what the hell happened so that it ended up in Washington, DC ? and why the hell do we have to suffer because of it.

The USA is a Republic and to be more specific....a constitutional republic

so dinosaurs lay eggs..... like chickens...... and the first dinosaur came from where ??? an egg maybe..... which was laid by ?????

clicked on page 3 and scrolled down real fast so that I wouldn't see other's answers. I would say the States came first. They then joined as the UNITED STATES . Now, the real question to mull over is chicken or egg.... can't have one without the other...so which came first if that is even possible.

Been using Maxima Synthetic Clear Chain Lube and I am just tired of cleaning up the mess it makes of my wheel, swingarm, and chain guard. I have been told that Castrol's Chain Wax is really good and doesn't fly off like this crap that I've been using. Problem is...I can't find anyone that carries it up here in the Cleveland area. Anyone know where it might be available? Has anyone used it and concur with the reviews it has. thanks in advance....

"Spectators" 2 different locations in NE ohio.... First is on US-322(Mayfield Rd.) just west (3/4mile) of OH-306 and the second is on OH-91 just south (150 ft.) of US-6. If you remember the Big Boy.... theirs is even better. They call it the double reverse. All their food is great and lots of big screens around and bands on the weekends.
