I got my lops (k555) from Dennis Kirk...cheapest I could find anywhere. But a friend looking for an elite for his wing got it cheaper from Shade Tree in NE Ohio

Magna loves twisties....ran it 15.5 minutes due to some inconsiderate cagers and one THP. I think without the luggage, and no obstructions, I could probably get my time down to about 11.75 to 12.5 minutes. I did get distracted once at one of the photo curves and went over the yellow, but was lucky that there was no oncomming at that time. Plus, I would probably take off my aftermarket center stand....hit it a few times in some of the steep dip curves......As far as the two wheel inn..... nice place and cool that you have a lockable garage to put the bike in at night. Bikers only motel and only down side was the lack of eateries in Robbinsville.

Starting April 15th at 6pm till dark. Every Friday Night...Hardee's restaurant at Rt. 2 and Vine St. in Willoughby. Got a bike built before 1987 ? Ride over to our gathering and show it off. Don't have one? Come on over anyway and enjoy our bikes and partake in some biker comraderie. Just NINE days away....Some additional news to report....All bikers will get a ticket for a free drink each week. We are planning on having some music and gifts/prizes for the gatherings. Details are still in the planning process. This is the third year for our get-together nights and our first at this location. Looking forward to seeing a lot of new faces and of course, all the old ones. We are also working on having one or two Saturday nights in the Chardon Square each month. Details to follow as they become available.

Congrats ! The instrument rating you just got is the fifth hardest rating to get. Some high end jet type ratings followed by ATP, CFII, CFI, Commercial instrument, private instrument, private pilot. You should be very proud, but a word of caution, take it slow & easy in your IMC flying. There is still much to learn ahead of you. Enjoy your up time.

Run over to OHIO555 goes from the river by Parkersburg, wv up to zanesville, oh about 65 miles of twisties, sweepers, some straights, some blind corners, hairpins, and a couple of cool little towns too.

SORRY.....BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE THE OLD " I WANT TO PLAY....BUT I DON'T WANT TO PAY " and if Casper and Kawi kid were serious... the sig tags should be deleted too. -
I went down last august , & stayed in robbinsville at the " two wheel inn". It is for bikers only and has mini (6'x12' garages next to your room to store your bikes in . great rates, but no restaurant. It is 20 miles south of Deals Gap MC on US129.

Lucky you ! There are much better vehicles out there. The durango was a POS. The Chevy trailblazer is another....GMC envoy is nicel, but if you need a larger vehicle...you might start looking at what I'm looking at....an avalanche or an escalade. both very nice and much better gas mileage.
-
Durango..... BIG GAS HOG.....I used to be a mopar fan until I drove a durango as a insurance temp vehicle. OMG that was when gas was about $2.09/ gal...... now at $3.55, I would need to go to the bank every week and get a loan to fill up that beast. See if they have a Tahoe or Blazer or Explorer. Any of them will give you better milage than that hog you're looking at.

When are people going to finally realize that profiling in NOT PC but IS a major deterrent to terrorists. Just about EVERY country in the world uses it but us....don't want to draw the lawsuits from the uclu. EVERY AVIATION terrorist attack has been committed by the same religious group and from the same area of the world. GET REAL FOLKS ! THOSE THAT WILL GIVE UP THEIR FREEDOMS FOR SECURITY DESERVE NEITHER. ben franklin

THE BLONDE JOKE TO END ALL BLONDE JOKES! A blonde woman was speeding down the road in her little red sports car and was pulled over by a woman police officer, who was also a blonde. The blonde cop asked to see the blonde driver's license. She dug Through her purse and was getting progressively more agitated. 'What does it look like?' she finally asked. The policewoman replied, 'It's square and it has your picture on It.' The driver finally found a square mirror in her purse, looked at it And handed it to the policewoman. 'Here it is,' she said. The blonde officer looked at the mirror, then handed it back saying, "OK, you can go. I didn't realize you were a cop...

Hey....just a comment about the party Sat Night.....cause I know everyone is gonna be tipping a few..... Please, take care of yourself this Weekend. A recent joint study conducted by the Department of Health and the Department of Motor Vehicles indicates that 23% of traffic accidents are alcohol related. This means that the remaining 77% are caused by assholes who just drink coffee, carbonated drinks, juices, milk, water, and shit like that. Therefore, beware of those who do not drink alcohol! They cause three times as many accidents. -
apple macbook pro 2.66ghz 4gb ram 500gb hd.......$2350.00 on sale....$2750 msrp

I didn't even want their IPOD....went with a sony mp3 player instead. Again, don't get me wrong...if I had the money and I could get past the distaste for the company, I would get a new apple laptop that has windows 7 installed and then I would have the best of all options....but $2500+ just is more than I am willing to spend on one.

I compare Apple business philosophy to Sony's BetaMax vs VHS, the original Apple vs IBM programming . When you don't allow the clones or programmers to be able to write programs for your product ....it really limits the usefullness of it. If it weren't for apple getting that big lawsuit payoff, they would have gone under a few years back. Don't get me wrong...they make one hell of a product....but I will never buy any of their stuff just because of their business practices/philosophy. I have a complete set of all the security screwdrivers...but I don't have that one...it is available for about $7.00. So what did Apple accomplish with this stupid stunt... just pissed off more of their customer base and turned off more of their potential customer base. Just plain DUMB !

Sam's Club has a good one...I believe it is either $159 or $179. Think is is the former.

just made an LED brake light for my bike, check it out!
myhondas replied to JStump's topic in Pics and Vids
You don't want to be in front of me either since I have a headlight moulator also. But..... I CAN turn them off if I want to. Tail is more difficult since I have to pull the seat, but the headlight is just a flip of my bright switch. -

Really nice job on the LED's.... I was thinking of getting the turn leds for my mirrors that have sequential flashes also. You might want to wire in a modulator on that for the brake light..really makes a difference from behind....Mine are not LEDs but they do the trick. http://s564.photobucket.com/albums/ss89/myhondas/videos/?action=view¤t=DSCN5605.mp4
