  1. Sorry if it is a repost, but maybe it needs to be.... someone has to stop this idiot before we don't have a country anymore....
  2. This might be the most important e-mail you will get. This bill is taking our free speech away from us, WHAT WILL BE NEXT. YOU MUST ACT. go to google, find the congressman for your district. Write them how you feel and tell them you will not vote for him or her. They have to change that ruling. If you don't know about this already, it is IMPERATIVE that you do. New Law......just signed March 2012 --HR 347 New law makes it illegal to protest in Obama's presence!!! This means that, wherever Obama is at, you do not have a right to ask him anything you want. His secret service can have you arrested, fined, charged with a FELONY and imprisoned for more than a YEAR if you ask him something he doesn't like. Sound like he’s more like Hitler than a Lincoln to you?!!! WATCH AND BE AMAZED AT HIS LATEST ATTEMPT TO STAGE A TAKE OVER OF AMERICA. You may have heard about this, but sending it on anyway. It’s probably the scariest thing this guy has done yet. Are you aware of this new law, signed by “Obama” in early March 2012? May the Lord have mercy on us!!!! This video is 3 minutes and 33 seconds long. Please send it out to EVERYONE you know. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=7SGWH3kirzg&vq=medium
  3. NC passed it but won't enforce it.....TN didn't do ANYTHING to stop them. Just plain stupid !
  4. My listed email is correct. it is my oldest one and is still valid for me.

  5. Just curious...why does it have " I need to change my email address" in my name block? Never noticed it before.

  6. For plastics: Just cleaning and a light polish - Novus 1 for medium scratches & polish - Novus 2, then 1 for heavier scratches & polish - Novus 3, then 2, then 1 This is professional stuff. You can buy it at most if not all plastic supply houses.
  7. I have white aluminum on the ceiling and walls. I have black/white checkerboard linoleum on the floors and ramps. My suggestion to you is what I found out about the flooring choice. It doesn't really matter what you do to the walls & ceiling, but be careful on the floor. My ramp/floor became a sheet of ice when it got a light mist or rain on it. I had to cut some of it out and put in a non-skid material on the ramp. Diamond plate is even worse. The ramp is the most critical area so find something that will give you traction when wet. Here is my unit prior to the ramp change to non-skid.
  8. I got the "BikeMaster" heavy duty one....Model 15-1555 it is a little more than the price of the RK but can handle ANYTHING out there. I was always one for buy the best & it will cost you less in the long run. but it depends on your wallet more than anything else.
  9. What hoblick prices are.... very reasonable ! It is what I pay a local stealer when I have mine done. Granted, I always take off my wheels and carry them in. Front & back demounted/mounted/balanced $20 / wheel $40 +tx out the door

    Mad at NRA

Instead of bitching about it here where nothing can be be done about it, why don't you let them know that you don't appreciate the hats place of orgin. In fact, why you are at it....you could take on the US Capitol souveniour shops that sell all kinds of stuff of which none or very little is made in the usa. Like the small american flags which have the same label as your new hat.
  11. The 357 DW is a great weapon. Got one myself. The photos make it look as if it is nickel plated though rather than blue. Whoever gets this has scored a super nice bang bang.

    Hello all

Welcome to OR. +1 on the rider course. But to bring you back down to reality, you won't save $ on gas by buying a bike.(you can use this excuse to your better half/s.o. if necessary) Spending $500-$9k on a bike to save $ on gas doesn't work out until about 2-3years at the earliest. I could do the math for you if necessary...my regular car only gets about 12mpg & bike gets about 42mpg....but unless you are driving 50-75 miles per day, 5 days a week, and rode April thru Nov. Mon-Sat rain or shine, it will take some time to break even on the purchase price of the bike and all the related gear that is associated with it. So, buy the bike, take the course, go out and have fun riding, and keep telling her how much $ you are saving by riding the bike instead of driving the car/truck/suv. She can relate..... didn't she buy that expensive dress and matching shoes that she will only wear once or twice a year because they were on sale @ 30% off.
  13. MAN dude......you are totally screwed.....give your kid to the better half and then just bend over and kiss your nasty a$$ good-bye. da fbi gonna get ya fo sur:lol:
  14. this vehicle just exploded ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2z9mTdGF0A
  15. I think it depends on the brand. Thr HJC symax II works very nice. As far as the tint, I agree and took some window tint to it and that worked pretty good.
  16. Actually, after looking close at the car....change that to you UNLUCKY BASTARD !
  17. That is because no one has gone to the state legislation with a bill requiring it to be done on all existing loops and on all future ones. I have had it done on specific ones by complaining to the city traffic dept. Instead we get stupid legislators trying to get a bill to outlaw hidden compartments in vehicles. Can you imagine getting stopped for speeding and then getting arrested for a factory installed hidden compartment in your vehicle? DUH ! Where do we find these geniuses?
  18. I liked it, but also stated that this is only a second best solution. I would rather see all the controlling authorities go out and reset their sensitiveness on the loops. Then we wouldn't need the law.
  19. Thanks ALL.....I went ahead & ordered it. I went with the dually for the versatility of the unit. I agree that for me, the duty time won't be that significant of a factor. I am just getting Argon gas for now, but might get some mixed gas later. The spool gun will be used for aluminum only and they gave me a free welders kit $255 value. Ended up at $1380 total. Not too bad. Now comes the learning curve I appreciate the offer Speedytriple of the employee discount. If I had more time to work on it, I might have taken you up on it even though I hate to take advantage of peoples generousity.

  21. Where do you find the duty time on the specs? I didn't see anything about it. Is it in a % format?
  22. I am looking to purchase a light portable unit and I started by looking at units from Lincoln and Miller. I want a unit that I can use at both work(220) and home (110) and portable enough to toss in the car. BUT I want something that will DO what I need it to do. I will mostly be working on 10ga and smaller steel and some aluminum stuff. My past experience has been oxi-acet and stick only. This will be my first MIG and I consider myself a noobie at best. I have been considering buying this LE unit. http://www.lincolnelectric.com/en-us/Equipment/Pages/product.aspx?product=K3018-1 along with a spool gun for the aluminum stuff. http://www.lincolnelectric.com/en-us/Equipment/Pages/product.aspx?product=K2532-1(LincolnElectric) along with a tank of gas.....I expect to spend about 1.4k on this. SO....What do you guys with welding experience think about this system?
