  1. If you're looking to do the whole timing belt job, this is where I bought mine from. http://www.dieselgeek.com/
  2. I know Byers does an OhioVW discount also
  3. Not enough room for that in the back yard.
  4. How much? One is from a medium sized crab apple and the other is just a shrub I couldn't get out.
  5. What kind of weight can this take? I see the link for the other but 3 tons seems nuts.
  6. On the drive back from Chicago a week ago I could feel the trans to begin to slip under acceleration. I've parked the car for now and am debating on what to do. Replace with a used unit or have it rebuilt. I got one quote so far to rebuild and it was a bit more than I'd like to spend. I'm willing to do the work to uninstall/re-install the trans but have never rebuilt a trans myself. I also want to make sure it actually needs a rebuild. The car does drive if I baby it. For a rebuild what should I be looking at price wise?
  7. Been driving an A8 lately and I like it a lot. The 4.2 isnt the most powerful but it feels like it has power.
  8. Took it to Cordell and got it done. He did a great job!
  9. 45-1Hr max - there will be 0 lines at that time.
  10. I did actually take it in to get the engine fire hazard recall done. Is that what it is? The valve cover? On the receipt they gave me it said spark plug retainers or something.
  11. It's a 3.8, I have the gaskets already. I also need the plugs done and have them. How much time should the job take?
  12. Need someone to do them. What should it run and where to go. North side preferred. May be more work to follow.
  13. Grpupon means prolly out of business lol.
  14. http://mendocino.craigslist.org/cto/2938667461.html Perfect car, wrong coast.
  15. With 40-50k mi you wont be hard pressed to find a C6Z for sub 40k this winter if you're looking Mike. I have seen them start to dip under 40 here and there already. Been keeping my eye on corvetteforum, cars.com, autotrader and craigslist. Is there anywhere good I'm missing? Willing to travel some for the right one.
  16. Gold or bronze would look good. Edit: I see im a bit late lol.
  17. They are around, just waiting for the right one. I've seen sub 30k mi cars ones that fit the bill but it was earlier this spring. As I said before I'm willing to wait but it won't take years by any means. There are '10 GS's in the high 30's low 40's. Prices are starting to drop quick on all of them.
  18. EDIT: It's gotta be Black or Blue.
  19. I see there is stuff out there but market has really dried up in for spring. There were a lot more options in March. I'm looking for a low mile car that is Black/Blue/Maybe Yellow right around $40k. Needs to be limited to no mods and these wheels

Wish I'd had more time to get ready. I'll be back next year.
  21. Cobra would get my vote.
