Hey, does anyone know where I can get a cheap paint job done on my bike. I'm looking to just get a solid color done or possible some graphics as well. Looking ot get the bike painted over the winter not sure exactly when yet. I'm in the Columbus area so I would need a local painter or when it heats up I could bring it in to get painted.

That's complete BS.... -
Well seeing how this thread has done a 180. I've done some more research on the Hi-Point and looks like I'll give them a try, its my first gun and I don't plan on using it that much. So spending hundreds on a first gun for me sounds kinda foolish. I will upgrade to a "better" gun as most of you claim. For the time being I'll see for myself with this gun. Plus with a warranty that I hope to not have to use its a plus just to have.

Is their a waiting period for guns if you buy them online?

I was trying to see some demographics on how people liked this gun. I figured you guys would be more open. I'm not completely set on this gun just yet. I'm still looking to see if I can find a better deal on gun that's not a composite material. If need be I could dish out another $100

I just want something to learn on and not looking to spent a crapload of money. I've read reviews and seen that people are for and against this gun. I figure lifetime warranty for something this cheap works for me right now. Then I'll upgrade to a better gun when I get use to it.

I'm looking to get my first gun. I'm looking to spend about $200 on it I found this one a 9mm Hi-Point C9. Does anyone know anything about this gun? http://www.woodburyoutfitters.com/Hi-Point-Model-9mm-CPT-9mmP-81-Round-Polymer-Frame-Pistol-35-Barrel-Black-Powder-Coated-9mmCP-9CP-P314.aspx

You can trade your phone in at Radio Shack through their recycling program. I've done about three phones ang gotten about $150 for all three. They give you the money on a gift card which sucks. But its better than having an old phone sitting around. Check out their website and see how much money you can get for it. I keep coming back for the knowledge of the OR community. I've asked plenty of questions and gotten back some great feedback in helping me get my bike running. I'm positive that my bike would still be sitting in the garage without the help from OR. I've only been on here since July of this year. Being a new rider and seeing how welcomed I was as a new rider made a great connection that was lost on other forums. Plus OR is a great place to waste your time especially when I have some homework to finish.

Jst2fst replied to Beegreenstrings's topic in Daily Ride
I rode to work and class yesterday (afternoon only) rode to work when their was frost on the car. Given my work commute is only five minutes from my house . Rode yesterday for two hours around the OSU area saw plenty of motorcycles out as well. -
I'm thinking about going anyone else in the OSU area want to head out as well?

Last night it sounded like it wanted to blow up but I'm just good at keeping things from blowing up I guess. With the way it was working it might of well blown up. It was spelled wrong on purpose to make a point

Hey' date=' nobody's perfect. I'm for sure as hell not. Also I know I've asked a lot from the Ohio Riders in getting my bike to run. You know you spelled "rong" wrong. [url']http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/wrong .What's you're point suppose to be? I got her running with the help otherwise she would still be sitting in the garage and I'm grateful for the help. Come on I'm game for this I'm use to dealing with difficult people....

Let's start off by saying yesterday I ran out of fuel on the way to the gas station and I had to push it about 500ft not a big deal. Once I got fuel the thing would not start so I had it jumped stood their about twenty minutes trying to get it to turn over. Finally I was heading to class and was pulling onto the road to park and the bike cuts out on me. Said f-it and ran to class two blocks away. While in my haste I as in idiot left the keys in the ignition still. Hi-tailed it out of class to find them still in the ignition. Also come to find out that my rear brake reservoir kinda exploded and fluid went everywhere. Now I know why I my back end slid out a bit because it was covered in break fluid. Here comes the kicker my bike's been running pretty good for the past two weeks. I'm riding it and I'm getting shocked as in I can actually see electricity arching across the left and right hand grips:wtf:. As well my neutral switch would not disengage when I hit the shifter it felt like nothing was there. The bike kept backfiring and I could feel the backfire pressure coming up through the carbs and here it snap, crackle and pop. Needless to say that the bike has been scrapped until I can figure out where the short is and why its backfiring. All of this happened once I ran out of fuel Its puzzling to me and I don't have a clue as to why. I'm gonna try and take a look at the electrical sometime today. As for now I'm on four wheels:nono: .

Where is this place at? If its not to far and pending road conditions I'm in for sure.
