  6. The hot wire is the black with brown stripe wire I use some test lead wire to find it. Use it befire with no problem till now. I'm on my way to pick up some new fuses and what not too see how it goes.
  7. All I did was cut the wire behin the license plate light the two black and green wires behind the bike
  8. Ok, so I got some good answers and some snary fuktards chiming in anyways. All I did was cut the factory light off and connect the LED's and they blew the wires are hooked up the correct way they worked for a few seconds then blew the fuse. As far as I can see I have no bare wire and they are not pinched they are still in the stock location. DOn't really wanna rewire it but if I have to I'll do it. Gonna keep checking till I find the problem. Still doing this I'll see if some wire came loose somewhere later tonight. I wanna say it got grounded somewhere the lights worked for a second then the fuse blew That was my thought the LED's pull less so I didn't think that their would be a problem but knowing me their is. Ah no I appreciate the sentiment though No secondary fuse box under the battery all I have are some relays located next to the fuse box behind the left faring The LED's I bought are made to be directly connected to the battery as a option. Like I had mentioned as well. Only as a last resort not meaning I'm gonna do it. Yea, and another one begins Not gonna happen This is my next option got done late on the bike last night so Ill pick up an inline today and see how it go.
  9. So I'm installing a new led license plate light and it keeps blowing the 10amp fuse. I made sure to buy one that would run off of a 12 volt system but it keeps blowing I was thinking about just using a highs amp fuse but that gonna be a last resort. It the instrument cluster fuse that keeps blowing if that helps I've only added the light to the circuit to replace the stock one. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can stop it from blowing. I've considered the option to do a direct connect to the battery with a switch just gotta remember to shut if off at night.
  10. My head hurts from all this thanks for the help guys don't have a volt meter yet but I'll be picking one today. Gump I'll try this later today and try and get back to you on how it works.
  11. Ok I'll give it a look and see what I can do.
  12. I need to have my front bearings on my 03' Nissan Pathfinder replaced. I can buy the parts needed I just need to know if someone in the Columbus area can do them or direct me to a shop that will do them for a decent price. I was quoted at $300 plus tax for one side. Need to have them done within the next. Thanks
  13. That's what I'm seeing I've tried four methods and nothing has worked. Last night I hooked back up the diodes and they allowed for independent operation just nothing blinked. This was the only method that allowed me to do this.
  14. It looks like a fast pulse when their lit but it just looks like its on constant. I had some resistors hooked up to them 270 ohm and still the same thing.
  15. I'm using the diagram fro the first post that Reconrat posted on the cbr forum. Like I mentioned it requires twio diodes one on the powere wire and one on the turn signal wire. Both silver strips are facing the leds then soldered together. This method has worked for others but I must be doing something wrong. The negative side has nothing on it just a plain wire. All my lights do now is that when I select the right signal the right side of the turn signals stay lit but don't blink and they will cancel out as they should this goes for the left side as well. Also the front ones stay running like stock and the rear one are off like they should be. I just don't have a flash pattern when I hit the turn signal so something has to be wrong. I did see a quick faint pulse on the turn signals and I not sure what that is from thwy still look energized if your not paying attention. I'll try and post a video of what they are doing today if I get some time. I'm replacing all my turn sigals with LEDS the rear signals are intergrated into the tail light with an undertail. I've heard some people used the trailed method and I decided against. However I might have to consider it now you know what type of relay I'm looking for I've stumbled across some 3 to 2 wire converters but they just looked like you ran them on either side of the bike for the turn signals. Also my rear turn signals are two wire application I'm only having problems with the front which is causing the entire bike to not have working signals.
