Sounds like a Burgman 650 is a bit over kill for this ride, lol. Not sure I would want to take a 150 but a 250 would do well. Anyone braving a 50 (2stroke)? The one I have been on tops out around 40 if I remember correctly.

I am looking into trying to make this. I told my old man about this ride and not sure he will be into it. So, I may trade him the Gixxer for the day and take the burgman out. I see there is a group from cbus getting together. When I find out if I can do this I will be in touch.

Ahhhh....well you haven't seen me on one then! I am conservative rider though and have a lot to learn and don't mind saying so. I want to do it right and make it home at the end of the day so i take my time and ride at my own pace and don't care. New roads with blind corners always slow me down as I have yet to see the things I want to see, like my little ones graduate!

I wonder this as well. The only way to see social group posting that I know of is through user CP. Maybe I am missing something, but I rarely ever look at it.

Maybe I shouldn't speak up about this but....... he did pass me after lunch lol. I was impressed as cbrbrent will speak of my times on a burgman 650 last summer. At 100 it shook pretty bad and couldn't keep up in the straights at all.

This is exactly what I thought. Keeping cars from crossing medians is what those are all about.
