yeah its an auto, i went through all the fuses and the all look ok..but I cant find one that has anything to do with the AWD..nothing in the manual says anything about it. unless its piggy backed off another fuse..(ie. my talons seat belts and headlight motors and tied with the same fuse)

so the AWD my moms 97 outback quit working, front wheels still work but I dont know anything about theses cars so i have no idea what to look for, Ive visually inspected the drive line and nothing seems broken or out of place, trans fluid levels are fine. There are no dash lights on the shouldn't be except the check engine light..which I'm waiting on a scanner so i can see what that's about but its probably throwing a cat code again. Is there any Problems that the AWD system is know to have? any ideas would be great! Thanks again!

brian, i dont know if you can get one under $300 but you should look at the XDms, i love mine..let me know if you wanna try it out sometime

i have a used 2.0L turbo 1g dsm head (4g63t) for sale. ran when it came of the car but could use a rebuild, the valve seals leak causing smoke at idle. the only thing not with the head are the cam gears and cas. also i have a new felpro head gasket. 100 for the head. 25 for the gasket.

ya i think all the XDs/XDm's come with the XDgear package: (2)mags (16+1 in .40cal and 19+1 in 9mm) Paddle holster, Mag holster, speed loader, cable lock, cleaning brush, and allen wrench to adjust the holsters. Ive only had it out once but felt great and everyone ive talked to had nothing but great things to say about the XDm's. The other cool thing< and im not sure about other hand guns since this is my first, is you can change it to a 9mm by simply changing the barrel <30sec and slapping in a 9mm mag. Im happy with it!
