Id offer the salvage guy 2k he is priced way to high... Ive seen clean title 03+ SV650s around 3k. I would hold out for one honestly. You would be happier with one of those and Ive seen SV1k for around 3k as well... Ill look tonight at work and see if I can find any deals for you.

I picked up Pauly's yesterday and I think it was more work than he expected Pulled it home 2hrs at 70-75 and it did fine. I actually think it will be better with some weight on it. It was also nice to just unhook it and walk it around because its so light.

I told mine she wasnt going. About 2 weeks later she asked about what days she needed off and I said "No, your really not going" ...I apparently owe her a vacation now lol My GF and I went last fall and it was a lot of fun. I dont mind 2 up however I want to put some miles on this trip and at a good pace....I am debating trailering down on Monday with her and have her take my car/trailer back and I would ride home Sunday.....Gets me off the hook.

I repaired a portion of the ones I bought. Held up great in my crash and will be repairing again shortly. What's your question?

Can anyone recommend some good pucks that arent outrageous. I need to order some new ones since my others did not last long.....

Congrats. Stay off busy roads until you have more experience. The more you ride the more comfortable you will become. I remember sitting there with cars next me thinking I dont remember them being this big. My first freeway ride was at like 3 am or something and no one on the road. Good times. I miss my 250r. Ride the crap out of that bike its a fun one.

I personally look at the expenses and say no fucking way....however when it comes down to it I always seem to shell out the money. Im like everyone else...Skimp on certain things and work OT. I have second job for play money and I am debating (and prolly will) work 108 hours in 9 days coming up in April just for some extra money....I also just do what I can when I can. A weekend a month or so is plenty for me. Madcat.......I may see you Saturday
