  1. Yea it's one nights deposit, usually the way we split it is if there is 3 of us we all go up and pay for one night somtime during the weekend before check out. If there are 4 or 5 just have to do some math. Also the way we do it is the guy that makes the reservation gets fitst bed choice. My only stipulation is I have to have a bed, no couches for me, other than that I don't care how we split it or what cabin it is. I text Habi and ask him if he's game when he replies I'll let you know.
  2. Yea that's my plan as of now. That might change, definitely getting to Fontana on the 9th just not sure if I'm doing a little tour before hand or not.
  3. Book a cabin and I'll be down for a bed. Habi might too.
  4. You just made me thankful for my good paying factory job. Even though I absolutely can't stand the people I work for. Thank you.
  5. Old news, get with the program. [emoji12]
  6. Different story when your touring in all kinds of conditions and taking it on and off several times a day.
  7. Magnetic ones are even worse in my opinion. It only takes one little metal shaving between the bag and tank for your paint job to have a bad day.
  8. Don't think I've used my drink holder since sorebutt trip. I keep snacks in the large front pockets of my touring jacket. I do remember your carrots going down the road...lol One I like to lean on my tank via my elbows and two I hate fucking with a bag when I get fuel.
  9. I hate having a tank bag in front of me. I like to be able to rest my elbows on the tank every now and then. Now my bike has a little storage box on the front of the tank for little things, but it dosnt hold much.
  10. Just take our advise, order this one and get it over with. http://www.amazon.com/Yuasa-YUAM62T7B-YT7B-BS-Battery/dp/B001T0SYV2/ref=sr_1_sc_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1454965389&sr=8-3-spell&keywords=2007+triumph+daytona+675+batteryAGM
  11. You better be careful that's a rough neighborhood, someone might beat you to death with a golf club and a coach handbag.
  12. They can be had for a good price. You just have to open up to a few years older with some miles. And being a truck base they will take miles better than a car. I bought mine at 6yrs old with 89K miles on it for $14k, new sticker price on it was $42K. Mine is now 11 years old and has 140k miles on it and other than the dent i put in the rear door it is in perfect condition. Everything is tight and right on it and I plan on putting at least 140k more miles on it. I totally get the wife/size thing. It's a comfort level that some people can find. My wife loves our big vehicles (my Tahoe and her Impala)and loves to drive them but she used to them. We recently bought our 16yr old kid a Nissan Sentra and even though its a really nice car we both HATE driving and riding in it..LOL. My mom had a Equinox before she passed away and i always thought that thing felt small to me too. Different strokes for different folks.
  13. Your right I don't have any data in front of me to back that up. But if given the choice i'm going to take a full frame vehicle vs a unibody if I know a accident is imminent. Just makes sense to me. But im sure there are thousands of variables to back up both sides of that story. And with traction control and stability control and all the electro crap on RWD vehicles these days it's pretty hard to spin them out in snow. The only time i ever use 4wd anymore is just to turn around in my drive way, I roll in 2WD 99.99% of the time and never fear of spinning out(it wont let you). Road trips with all that room is really nice, we take it most of the time over the wifes 30mpg car just for the comfort level.
  14. Let me ask you this, why sell yourself short on a small or mid sized? I have a Chevy Tahoe and it's been the best family car I could ever ask for. Plenty of towing capacity, cargo capacity, and room for the little ones to grow. Also being a full sized full framed truck so to speak it's going to be safer. And as far a fuel economy if you get the right gearing you can get 19+mpg highway depends on the year. My 05 gets 19 but my buddies new 14 he claims it gets 21. And being based off of the Silverado line I have found parts and repairs relatively inexpensive and readily available.
  15. I love tapatalk because along with OR I also follow these forums and it's nice to have all my content in one place and in the same format.
  16. I've heard the concerns but really if somone wants to track or hack my uninteresting life the jokes on them.
  17. Yes it is sir, Thank you !! [emoji3] [emoji106]
  18. Yup Yusa and amazon for me. I always pay a few extra bucks and the glass matt or AGM battery. They last longer.
  19. Moto batteries are finicky, I've bought bad ones off the shelf before. So I'd say the battery is junk especially if you say it was a pre filled one.
  20. What does the voltage drop to when you press the starter button? If it's below 10V id say the battery is junk.
  21. Anthony is one of the owners. My bet is those boys are going to take the money, run and laugh all the way to the bank then start over again. I think we will see then again under another entity.
