  1. It's the guy that's never home when I stop by his house...lol
  2. Prudent information for potential cabin mates
  3. Called them today and they offer no help on the pants I bought. Since they were in the sale section they are "as is" no alterations, no help with fitting and warranty on sale items is only 90 days. Plus i found out the ones i have are the "old style" without the full water proof leg zipper, as well as not having the adjustable knee pads. They will let me return them for refund minus the $15 I paid or shipping plus i have to pay to ship them back. So on a return i'm out about $25 if i exchange for the newer style and correct size i'm in for another $110.
  4. Was a seal not a bearing and thats because when the kawi propels you at mach speed for so long no rubber seal can with stand that kind of heat and abuse.
  5. These ducati and triumph guys always have a plan for when thier shit breaks down. We kawasaki guys wouldn't understand what that's all about.
  6. I think om fine on the waist size now, especially if I add hip pads. The lenth is anoying when walk but not too bad when in the riding position. My main remaining issue is where the knee pads are. I've read where Aerostich has iron on velcro patches to help this but usually that's the Darian pants they post that about. I'll call them tommorow to see if that's a option.

    WTB Moped

I believe by legal definition it has to have pedals http://bmv.ohio.gov/moped_info.stm What is a Moped? Just because something looks like a moped, doesn't guarantee it is one in the eyes of the law. Only the Ohio Department of Public Safety can certify which vehicles meet state standards. You should not accept anyone else's statement that a vehicle is a moped. The Ohio Revised Code defines a moped, or motorized bicycle, as any vehicle with two tandem wheels or one front and two rear wheels which is capable of being pedaled. The tires shall have an inflated width size of 1.75 inches (4.45 centimeters) minimum and shall have an overall inflated diameter of 19 inches (48.26 centimeters) minimum when mounted to the rim or wheel. The moped should be equipped with a helper motor too. The helper motor may not: have a piston displacement of more than 50 cubic centimeters;produce more than one brake horsepower; andpropel the vehicle at a maximum speed greater than 20 mph on a level surface. If a vehicle exceeds any one of these criteria, it is legally a motorcycle. Be certain BEFORE you buy. Contact the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles at 614-752-7518, if you have questions.

Keep I'm mind the legal definition of moped and these 50cc scooters that are out there are not the same thing. If you're looking for a youngster to be legal on the road.
  13. The waist I can deal with its not that bad, but the length well I ordered the Long well because I'm tall and the measurments concurred with that, well the knee pads are 4 inches below my knee and they drag the ground.
  14. Got them today, might end up sending them back. Their sizing is way off from what im used to. One size too big in the waist and WAY too long. The problem is if i want to exchange them it will cost me another $110 since i bought these our of their clearance stock.

  17. Lot of this stuff is way cheaper in Europe but by the time you pay the shipping it's close to what it cost on the states. You cn still save some money but will have to wait a month for it. Me and my buddy just researched all that about a month ago.
