  1. I can't take that much time off. Going to Maine and Nova Scotia 2 weeks later.
  2. Just a feeler to see if anyone else would be interested in either leaving a day early or coming home a day later to hit the entire lenth of BRP on thr way to the annual O.R. Deals Gap trip. Thinking of slabbing to or from Waynesboro VA and taking BRP all the way to Cherokee. Nothing set in stone yet and like I said it can be the trip down or back. Will be bypassing Skyline drive, too many cars and slow speed limits there, not to mention the @hole Rangers. Edit: Will be doing this on the way home Ok I have decided to make this a long way home trip. When i leave Fontana Sunday morning I will be taking the BRP to Boone, NC then hitting "The Snake" in TN and "The Back of the Dragon" in WV then jumping on I77 in Beckly WV and slabbin home. Might hit a couple other roads with time permitting. Only thing tat will change this is pure shit for weather. If you want to join me let me know.
  3. No need to dyno mine, I can google the stock numbers. But if available I might ride down.
  4. FYI get a short list of the ones you are interested in before you go. At least in terms of style and options. Or you be there all day, which really isn't a bad thing.
  5. +1 for getting to The Pony they literally have hundreds if not thousands of brands, sizes, colors, and style to try on. When I picked up my last one (Nolan N 90 ) I bet I spent 4 hours there and had 90 different ones on my head before I decided. But I cheated I then ordered it online but it wasn't a few bucks it was about $100 cheaper. I later found out that Pony will price match most online advertised prices. So take your phone and price match then ask. Even if it's a bit of a trip for you to get there trust us, you won't regret it.
  6. Good time last year, will come out again if the stars align just right again.
  7. Nope looks had nothing to do with it, i usually gravitate to ugly bikes (TL1000S, Vstrom, now the C14). The ride did nothing for me on the Vee. I could rail it, i could drag peg, i could keep a pretty good pace with it but i did not thrill me. Sometimes i felt like i was just commuting on it while i was on some of the best roads in the country. Just didn't feel the thrill or the desire to ride it most of the time. The best time i ever had on it was during the GAP trip a couple years ago. They were working on the bridge down the hill from Fontana at night and there was a back woods detour to get around it. Everyone else hatted it but i had a blast running it. Super tight switch backs with gravel bookoo elevation changes. I loved that road on the Vee, took it on the C14 last year and hated it.
  8. I think the Strom is a great machine, just didn't have soul for me. The M109R is just a muscle bike and had no true practicality but it still intrigues the hell out of me. And the one I rode at the gap a few years ago still has me giggling like a school girl.[emoji12]
  9. Don't expect a dealer that has to flip these bikes for profit to give you top dollar people. Not shitting on you IMG just seems like some on here think your scamming by not offering much. They are a buisness that has to make money and pay overhead, nothing more nothing less. So take what you think your bike is worth and minus at least 25% abd hope you can get them to give you that. Like I said not dissing IMS here but this is the name of the game and sellers need to understand that.
  10. I'm going to agree to most of these except for the Yamaha, it would have to be the Super T and Suzuki would be the M109R
  11. Goodwill wouldn't even take mine, they said they had too many already.
  12. Not trying to shit in your thread but your not going to sell that TV I tried to give away 2 of them (a 27 and a 32)and none wants them. I ended up throwing mine in a dumpster. Because even the recycling center doesn't want them
  13. Nice scooter Gump ! You should ride to the gap now.

Only if a Network requires you to verify subscription. Like ESPN or History. But once you do it once that's it.It's a stand alone unit, it streams directly from your wifi router.

If your going for a stick device the Amazon Fire Stick is the best hands down. I liked the way the Roku menus were and how it was laid out but the hardware could not keep up. If you go with a Roku set top box im sure it would be better but yiu going to pay a lot more. The Chrome cast needs hardware updating as well and there are less apps supported. Didn't really like the menues. And does not stream amazon prime video. I love my Amazon Fire TV stick I have absolutely nothing bad to say about. I have owned and tried all 3 and took the other 2 back to the store.

  20. Is the cable or DSL out? Mine will do that when the online light on the modem is not on due to a cable outage. Still connects to the wifi signal but there isnt any service.
