  1. Water, liquid, aka mud hole...He dove in one of the deeper holes that are rutted pretty good, next to Steve's favorite hole and couldn't get out. Blake actually tried with the z400(all he did was wheel stand it) hooked him up to the Wolverine dropped her in 4WD and chugged him right out.My son actually pulled me out of the same hole the day before.
  2. I was impressed on how easy it was too pull out of the drink..
  3. That Recon is prefect for him, and no fear of outgrowing it anytime soon. We switched machines coming back from the cemetery once and hell I thought it rode like a Cadillac. Also forgot to mention I got to pull Hoblicks Wikdcat out of the drink (mud hole)with the Wolverine, she pulled like a tank. And Tyler pulled me out of the same hole with the Recon the day before
  4. Freaking perfect weekend, the weather, company, trails and fun could not have been any better. Here's a little pic whoreing sorry there's so many of my son.
  5. She's not the only one that hit a tree. My son also thought his new quad was a tree bulldozer. He is fine too, lesson learned for him. Do not go downhill too fast in a gravelly corner. Not near as costly of damaged like Ryans, if I chose to repair it would probably just be a headlight guard and a front bumper. Here is the damage to his tree
  6. i wear mesh gloves, jacket, pants all have kevlar liners except the gloves which are leather palms. As long as you moving it's cooler than squid gear, because it also keeps the sun and wind burn off you skin.
  7. I wear a 2xl in some brands, i have a XL AFX your welcome to(they run big) nice helmet wih multiple visors
  8. What size lid you wear? I've got a couple nice freebies I'd pass along
  9. Weird how sometimes it's so simple.
  10. The key on my bike never leaves the ignition and it never will,I ain't skert.
  11. If the man child is motivated I might roll tonight, but it would be very late.
  12. I need to change oil, adjust the brakes and check the dif fluid on the boys ride tonight and get my camping gear packed. If I can get his ass on gear going to try to be there around noon or late morning tomorrow.
  13. I think the folks that frequent the trails are good people and fairly trustworthy. But the local scene down there are poor and lots of drug issues, seen quite a few shady characters lurking around the trail heads.
  14. Still haven't done mine either..lol..been working 72 hours a week since vacation
  15. mine was stock and i loved it, but by body didn't love it the next morning, best of the best went into this one i bet it's a mean machine
  16. Personal preference to potentially learn it the wrong way, more power to ya.
  17. Your looking into the wrong classes then, the one I did many years ago treated everyone like they had never laid eyes on a firearm before. And that is what it's supposed to be like (basics), a bit too much of back to basics for some but necessary.
  18. That's the whole idea behind the training that is required to get your permit.
  19. I've heard the dye they use will bleed all over your hands, but I haven't tried them myself.
  20. They are sexy, love the look and I thought it was comfy as hell, just wasn't feeling it. I hate the ST, hate the look and the feel from the saddle, never rode one but I've heard they are not the most exciting either. I deserve the trailer comment, but after the sorebuttapaloza that will prob change. If you ever get the chance Paul you should check out PhilDo's FJ he had that thing set up nice.
  21. not sure why, but when i rode the fjr my thoughts were "i can live without that"
  22. Only if i don't go to Maine, which i prob won't. The stars would have to be perfectly aligned for that to happen.
